Kenma woke up early on his own time. That was new for him, Kenma never really woke up early unless he was forced to. His face a safe fit in the crook of your neck, as he listened to your steady breaths. A smile spread across his face as he remembered the night before, he kissed you. Kenma didn't know why he was so happy, he just felt like he was levitating. This is weird, cause Kenma had never felt like this with anybody.
But here he was, practically on cloud nine as he took in this moment. Kenma clung to you like his life had depended on it, which it didn't but right now it most definitely did. Usually, Kenma was never excited about things well aside from video games, etc. Yet, he's never been so excited about a person, never felt like he was up in the clouds with that euphoric feeling until he met you.
To be honest, Kenma stuck around for so long is because he found you interesting. When you first came up to him and talked to him all parts of him wanted to run and never come back to the rooftop, but he found himself always coming back... every time, he wanted to stop and he just wanted to go back to the way he was. Just simple? But again, Kenma didn't know what simple meant in his book.
Simple for Kenma was watching as his parents go on another trip, stay up till the sun rose and play RPG games or a new action game that came out till he could feel his eyes burn. And simple for Kenma was to watch the day go by and his fade into the distance like some sort of background character. This was all simple for him and it was easy for him to understand and acknowledge that, this was just his simple and boring lifestyle.
But now with you, it was a good complicated. He didn't know what he'd do today or later and if he was going, to tell the truth, he didn't mind it at all.
Kenma sighed before he unwrapped his arms from around you, and sat up slowly to not wake you. Kenma stared at your sleeping figure, you looked so peaceful. He then swept away the hair that had covered your face. Kenma watched as you rub your eyes, the sleep now fading from your body which made him quickly move his hand away from your face.
As you tried to fight the urge to wake up, "Wake up, youre gonna get a migraine if you stay in bed too long." You groan as a reply before turning over to him, your eyes fluttering open as you looked at him. A smile stretched over your face, "Gross, what?"
"I wouldn't mind waking up to something like this from now on." You whisper, Kenma smiled before rolling his eyes.
"I had no idea you were this cheesy." He moved his hand over your face which made you giggle. "It's not cheesy! It's me showing my affection to you!"
"Say something different, then!" He argued and you huff and place your face in the pillows, you then lifted your head and looked at him. "Okay let me try again." You say, and Kenma nodded a smile creeping on his face. "Go on."
"Kozume good morning." You say and brush back his hair, Kenma's eyes widened as he felt your warm hands behind his ear.
"Gross." He chuckled, while you huffed. "I'm joking, I liked that one." He stopped nodding then laughing. "And the first one." He admitted.
You smiled, "See! Just admit I'm so good at this." Kenma raised an eyebrow, as he felt your hand leave his ear. "What is this exactly?" He asked emphasizing on the "this" and you gave him another signature smile.
"Making you feel special, Kozume."
Kenma stopped and looked at you, your smile leaving a permanent place in his mind. "You're really good at this, then." He says. "I'm glad."
