You sighed once you heard your alarm go off, pressing the snooze button you turned around. Your face was stained with tears from last nights scene, you slept through the night with nothing but regret and anger.

Anger because he told you he didn't care, and regret because you meant what you said. Maybe you and Kenma weren't soulmates after all like Kuroo said and how you hoped you to were. "How could I be so stupid." You say to yourself, before you found yourself holding onto your pillow. You promised yourself you wouldn't cry, but once you felt your eyes burn with tears you knew that promise would be soon broken.

You felt your phone vibrate, you wished you turned it off. You had a feeling of who it was, but you didn't want to know if you were right.

Another vibrate, it was persistent. It made you wanna throw up, you knew you could've turned it off. But that was risking seeing the messages or the notifications, and you didn't want that. You didn't want to be sucked back into what you thought was a relationship, you squeeze your eyes tight and try to block it out.

As if it was mocking you another vibrate came, you sat up and grabbed your phone. The bright light made you squint.

Your frown deepened, you then threw your phone and laid back down. You didn't want his pity, you just wanted him to go away, he said it didn't matter. And it didn't. You felt a tear roll down your cheek before you wiped it away.

It was too early for this, you stared at your ceiling. Before closing your eyes, you wished you could sleep forever.

Kenma sighed, you had a right to be upset. Kenma shut off his phone before turning over in his bed, why did he feel so unmotivated all of a sudden. He didn't feel like going to school today, maybe he'll say he got sick. This was weird for Kenma, distance was something he was known with. But the distance now, it was unusual and cruel. It felt so cold, why did it feel so cold?

By now Kenma would've just set his phone aside and got on a game, but he couldn't even bother doing that.

'It's your fault.' The tiny voice pecked at his brain, which he shook his head too. It was just some misunderstanding, you knew Kenma cared about you, right?

More voices nagged at him, which bothered him. It made him toss and turn, and it made him feel nauseous. He couldn't get you out of his mind and he couldn't get the doubt that came with it out either. He didn't want to feel like this, he didn't like feeling like this. He wished it would stop, he'd give anything for it to stop. Kenma felt his hands ease their way into the sides of his hair, and grip onto the strands.

He wanted it to stop, he needed it to stop. A soft ping caught his attention, which madethe doubt instantly disappear. Kenma let go of his hair that he was gripping tight to grab his phone, he hoped it was you. But when the notification didn't show your name he felt his heart sink.

Hey Pudding Head! Don't be late.

Kenma stared at the text, the doubt soon coming back. 'They don't need you.',

Kenma
I can't make it today.

And if Kenma knew what he did back then, then he wouldn't of lied and he would've said he could make it. He would've done things a lot differently.
