Just like Kenma had said, you had both saw each other on the rooftop later that night. Kenma had huffed as he laid beside you, the cold concrete making him shiver but he ignored it.

"So, how was your first day!!" You asked, excitement filled your tone. Kenma's eyes look over at you, he wanted to be honest and tell the truth that today was terrible or how he didn't want to even start with how shitty it began. But, when he saw your happy atmosphere and the sight of your smiling face he couldn't bring himself to do it.

"It was...fine." He says, gazing up at the sky above him, how he used to do every single night before you showed up to accompany him. Now his nights were filled with you talking, laughing, and asking him unanswerable questions. Silence overtook the both of you like how it used to before, which was new for Kenma.

"Liar, it was bad wasn't it." You sigh, your mood slightly deflated. Kenma wanted to steer clear from that, Kenma stayed silent. He hadn't thought you'd catch him in his lie, you let out a soft hum. "Well, we don't have to talk about it." You say, and Kenma thanked whatever was up above the both of you that he didn't have to discuss his day. It wasn't like it was bad, well it was a little bad since everything he did he thought Kuroo was beside him and even worse was that he was always tempted to text you.

"How was your day?" Kenma asked, trying to free himself from thinking about his day. You perk up slightly at the mention of it, "Hate to rub it in, but I had a nice day."

He hummed a little, "I'm glad you did, it makes my mood better if you're happy." He said, he then heard a chuckle he turned to look at you to see you were giving him a smug smile.

"Look who's being cheesy now!" You sung, and Kenma rolled his eyes and slightly pushed you away. "Gross, no I'm just saying I'm happy when you're happy."

Another chuckle erupted from you, and Kenma sighed. "Okay, well maybe that was cheesy." He agreed, but you shook your head. "No, besides I liked it."

Kenma chuckled this time, "Have you noticed that we've become like those cheesy romantic high school couple?" He asked which made you laugh.

"Oh no! We have!" You say between your laughter. "Oh, well no stopping it now." You hum.

You and Kenma both fell into an comfortable silence. Something that had become recent for the both of you.

"Y'know you were always up here before I came along...why?"

You say, to which Kenma shrugged. Which you couldn't tell, so he sighed. "Well, I guess I started to come up here to think?" He says, "But then I guess it become a daily thing." You listened as he thought about it.

"I don't really have a reason, but what about you?" He asks. Then you raise your eyebrows in a thought, you didn't know why you came up here in the first place. "I dunno. One night I just couldn't help but come up here." You started which was indeed true, you hadn't discovered it yet. But when you first passed the building you felt the sudden need to go up there. You turned to look at him, "Then I met you."

"You say it like it was destined that we were supposed to meet." Kenma says his eyes glancing to your direction.

"Maybe we were." You say, as the cat-like boy just stared at you, slightly amazed yet embarrassed by your answer before he looked away. Tonight was colder, cold enough to make you shiver, as the wind blew through you like you were transparent. You looked over at Kenma, his same black sweatshirt from when you two had first met covered him. He didn't talk about how cold it was, he wasn't the type to complain about it being cold...or complain about anything at all until it got to him.

"Stop staring at me, you make me think I have something on me."

"I can't help it! You're interesting." You defend yourself as you quickly glanced away, you could hear a small scoff beside you.

"Interesting?" he asked, "Me?" He continued. In disbelief at your accusation. You raised an eyebrow slightly in confusion on how he didn't think the same.

"Uh, yeah. Who else this cold air." A hint of sarcasm in your tone, making Kenma give you a small eye roll. "Haha funny." Sarcasm also in his tone.

"Whatever, I just don't think anything is interesting about me."

"You're kidding right?" You ask in disbelief. He shrugged at your reaction, a small 'uhh' leaving his lips. Confused as to if you didn't just hear him say that he didn't find himself interesting. "Kenma you're so interesting to me." You rambled. Kenma slightly got a chill from hearing you say his first name, which he hadn't heard in what felt like forever from you.

"And I dunno what it is but there's just something about you." Your voice lingered as you looked at him, your words now lost.

"But, you in general just remind me." You try to find the right word to put it, but you couldn't help but feel intimidated in the way he looked at you. Even though he looked at you with amazement.

"You just remind me of a star, Kozume." You then look at him, "And you're just so bright and confusing to know about but I can't help but wanna know more-" You rambled on, which Kenma couldn't stand. You always talked too fast for him and he couldn't even keep up with the words that fell out your mouth.

Kenma then huffed before he placed his hand on your cheek which made you stop babbling and you looked at him. "What are you-"

He pressed his lips against yours. Which had most definitely shut down you down. The kiss was unexpected but you found yourself giving in to it anyway. Though it hadn't been the first time you both kissed it still lit up a small fire in your heart. It was quick, and as quick as it came it was quick to leave.

"You ramble a lot, it makes my head hurt," Kenma said. With your lips still slightly puckered you look over at him, a grin then replaced your puckered lips.

"If that was going to be the outcome I would've rambled a lot more." You say and Kenma shook his head.
