Thy Metamorphosis, My Decomposition
I started off as a dainty seed.
Clouds watered me.
I then stem out,
My petals slowly sprout.I bathed in sunlight
As I slowly bewitch insects over time.
Caterpillars were allured to my exquisite leaves,
Someone like me the most ravishing, they believe.Ensuing that, caterpillars plundered me of my leaf,
Their actions departing me with grief.
They metamorphose whereas I gradually become deceased,
Whilst my petals gazed at the wings of the beast.
