Well, it's been about a week now.
I was sitting in Herbology when the ink in my quill kept disappearing on my paper. I was trying to take a test. I growled raising my hand.
"Yes Celestial?" She asked.
"May I have a new ink case? Mine seems to have dried out." I said looking to the side pretending to screw the lid on. I saw Fred snickering from behind his hair.
"Oh? That's odd. Here you are dear. I can take the old one for you." She smiled.
"Oh. Uhm I was wondering since it wasn't any good if I could keep it. Memories ya know?" I said.
"Well. Uhm. Okay?" She looked at me confused.
"Thanks." I said sitting it on the opposite side of my desk. Away from Fred. We finished up our test and we both went to turn them in at the same time. We were heading out.
"Hey Weaseley? Invisible ink huh? You can do better than that." I growled under my breath so the teacher didn't hear. I then launched the entire case at him. It was all in his hair, and in his face. His clothes looked to be ruined. Professor wasn't quite happy with this one.
"You have a lot to live up to around. I suggest you get started with the better pranks." I rolled my eyes.
"CELESTIAL!" She screamed. "BOTH OF YOU TO MCGONAGALLS OFFICE NOW!"
"But professor..." we both said trying to explain.
"No buts!" She growled. So...to Headmaster we walked. Next to me an ink covered Fred. Ink from his hair was dripping on his nose. He was laughing.
"Wait till we get to McGonagall and the ink disappears." He laughed the whole way up.
"Why do you laugh so much?" I sighed.
"Hah. Because I have everything to laugh about." He smirked playing off my line. And that my friends...that was the beginning of our friendship. A real one.
So, we finally crept in to see McGonagall.
"What In..." she looked surprised to see Fred like that. "I shouldn't be shocked....but...I am." Her eyes wide. "Explain yourselves!" She growled.
"Well. Celestial threw ink on me. Nothing to explain." He shrugged.
"Hey now! Don't forget to tell her about what you did with me now!" I growled.
"What is it?" Fred began laughing.
"Well. You see." As he started talking McGonagall was just focused on the ink fading away.
"So ya. Disappearing ink." He grinned. "We tried to tell Sprout but she didn't want to hear it." She went from being furious to sighing pinching her nose, and squinting her eyes.
I saw this as a chance. "So...if you don't want us ruining our clothes you let the other kids wear some different outfits from the uniform?" I snuck in.
"Hm. Are you threatening the clothes."
"That come from your own pay? Absolutely." I said.
"I'll let the students decide. But I would watch yourself Miss Snape. If you think, I'm going to treat you any differently then the rest of the students here you're very wrong." She made that very clear. "One more toe out of line and you BOTH will be in detention." she growled.
We went to walk out, when we heard her say something. "You both just lost your house 5 points." I rolled my eyes as Fred giggled.
"Where are you going? Lunch is this way?" Fred said walking to his right.
