Yoongi sits at his computer, scanning through his music, searching for the song "Like." He finds it and plays the track, the early version of the song without all the backing vocals. Jungkook pops his head around the corner.

"I Like it," he teases, naming the song and his review of it. He smiles a warm friendly smile and it makes Yoongi grin. "Here's my part coming up." He sings along with the recording mirroring his own voice on the track. He dances a little in the tiny room and it makes Yoongi laugh.

"Thanks, I needed a bit of cheering up." He turns the volume down on the track. Jungkook stops dancing and looks at him concerned.

"What's wrong Hyung?" He sits down on the cushion next to the computer table.

Normally Yoongi wouldn't bother to share anything he's feeling, with anyone. Well, sometimes with Jin or RM but never with the maknaes, but tonight he just feels such a heavy weight.

"I'm worried about my brother and his girlfriend." He shakes his head, letting his lips form a pout. "I don't think things are very good for them right now."

"They've been together like five years." Jungkook says calculating.

Yoongi nods, "Yeah nearly, and he hasn't always been the best boyfriend. She seemed really sad when I left her earlier."

Jungkook smiles, "Send her a picture of us, to cheer her up," he suggests.

"Why would that cheer her up?" Yoongi laughs off the idea, but deep down, he does like the idea of communicating with her again.

"Because I'm her favorite member of BTS?" Jungkook says smiling.

Yoongi hits him playfully, "Shut up! If anyone's her favorite it's me!" He holds out his phone and takes a selfie of the two of them together. He looks it over, writing a note before pressing send.

'Thinking of you!'

He puts his phone down and turns back to the computer to start another song. Jungkook listens, still seated on the floor. He looks up at Yoongi who has stopped smiling.

"Hyung, why don't you talk to your brother about it?" he asks.

Yoongi dismisses the idea, "We don't talk about stuff like that."

Jungkook gets up. "Well maybe you should." He smiles and steps out of the room, leaving Yoongi alone to think.

If his brother were anyone else treating her this way, he'd have more than words with him. But they just didn't talk about stuff like that. Maybe it's the fact that he's five years older, he was always long passed any stage growing up before Yoongi got to it and wasn't much on sharing advice or personal experiences.

They were actually only close, really close, when he lived with them when he moved to Seoul, and even then how close could they have really been if he was in love with his girlfriend the whole time and his brother never knew.

His phone buzzes, distracting him from his thoughts. He grabs it, looking out into the hallway to see if anyone is nearby before he looks at it. A text from her:

'Thanks Yoon, it's good to see you smile. Even just a little.'

Her texts makes him grin from ear to ear, too bad she can't see that, he thinks. He texts back quickly:

'I'd like to see you smile too Noona'

He stares at the phone waiting for a response. It takes a long time, no response. He wonders if maybe she won't text back. He thinks over what he can say to her next. He doesn't want to stop communicating:

'I owe you some Soju. I'll drop by tomorrow night and bring some'

He presses send. And waits. And waits. He bites his lip. He isn't sure if she's read his text. He scans Twitter to see if she's tweeted anything, checks her Facebook, no updates today, nothing new. He stares at her profile picture. He's already saved it on his phone, but it's nice to see it again. Still no response.

He sighs and shuts down the computer. It's late and half the members are already asleep. He steps into the dark bedroom and climbs up onto his bunk, holding his phone. He can hear soft snoring from one of the bunks as he lays across his bed still dressed. He stares up at the dark ceiling, holding the phone to his chest. He's about to close his eyes when he feels it vibrate, startling him and he almost drops it. The glow of the screen illuminates the room. He opens the message.

'Sure'

Sure. He could make a meal out of that one word. Sure. Not exactly a glowing 'Yes absolutely!' But definitely more than 'Ok'.

He clutches the phone to his chest again as he smiles, in the dark room. His cheeks ache at the broad smile. He wonders if he isn't smiling so big it's loud enough for others to hear it. He sighs and lifts the phone rereading the message. He swipes to his photo gallery and scans through images to find a few he has of her. One his brother text him from a vacation to Okinawa the year before. She's smiling from a beach, wearing a bikini and a big floppy hat. The purple fabric clinging to her shapely figure, hugging her broad hips and hiding her small breasts. He knows it's not right to think about that image as much as he does, but he can't help himself. And he figures it hurts no one if he stares at it alone in his room, no one but himself.

"Hyung!" He's startled by a whisper from below, he hides the image, laying it face down on his chest. "Turn down the light from your phone." Jimin calls up to him. He rolls over onto his side, and lifts the screen up again to face him, turning down the brightness, and he stares into her laughing eyes until the screen goes dark.
