two days later i'm in my bathroom getting ready for my date with christian.

leaving my hair in its natural state i just put on some makeup and brush my teeth.

walking into my closet i sift through my clothes and settle on a pair of leggings and a big sweater.

once i was dressed i sir on my bed and put on some combat boots.

as i'm in the middle of nowhere untying on my left shoe my phone buzzes.

"i'm here", christian texts.

i smile and text him a quick reply.

"on my way".

getting up from the bed i put on my rings and spray some perfume before grabbing my bag and walk downstairs.

"i'm leaving!", i yell to no one in particular.

"have fun, dear!", my grandma yells back.

i smile and leave the house closing the door behind me.

looking up i see him leaning against his car waiting for me.

walking up to him he embraces me in a hug.

"sorry to keep you waiting", i say once we part.

he smiles opening the passenger door for me.

"it was no problem at all", he says before closing the door.

he walks around to the drivers seat and gets in.

"so where we headed?", i ask once he starts driving.

"it's kind of a surprise", he smiles.

"seriously?".

he nods his head glancing at me.

"trust me".

two words. so simple to say, yet i didn't know if i could say that i did.

i just nod my head in response.

we drive in silence for a while until i see all kinds of christmas lights illuminating the night.

"what?", i ask surprised.

i've always wanted to come out and see the lights but we never got around to it or had any time.

"surprise", christian says pulling onto the side of the road.

i'm smiling so big i feel like my cheeks are about to explode.

unbuckling we both get out and i meet him by the driver side.

"this is amazing", i tell him.

he grabs my hand and leads me towards the entrance.

"welcome to winter wonderland", the lady at the entrance says.

i smile at her and look at christian.

he looks back at me and smiles.

i try to find the right words, but i fail.

i'm absolutely speechless.

"christian... i... i don't know what to say".

it starts snowing and i am in pure bliss.

making a circle with my arms outstretched i start laughing.

he pulls me into him and wraps me in his arms.

in a split second everything stops and it's just him and i.

placing my hands gently on his arms i look up at him.

he's already looking at me, a small smile on his face.

he starts to lean in and i meet him halfway capturing his lips with mine.

elephants dance in my stomach and i swear i see sparks.

right here under the arches of christmas lights, i'm kissing the man of my dreams.

he pulls away and puts his forehead on mine.

"i've been wanting to do that since we met at the airport", he whispers.

i blush my eyes still closed.

"thank you for bringing me here", i tell him.

together him and i walk hand in hand through the yard of christmas trees and balloons drinking hot chocolate.

we take some pictures and our first picture together in a sleigh.

"you guys are really cute together", i hear a lady say.

i smile at her.

"thank you", christian tells her.

"take care of eachother", she smiles walking away.

christian kisses my head.

"you ready to go?", he asks.

i nod my head.

"let's go back to mine, i need help putting up my tree".

he looks at me.

"you didn't ask your dad?", he asks.

i shake my head.

"you just wanted an excuse for me to go over huh?", he jokes.

i shrug.

"i cannot confirm nor deny", i say nonchalantly.

he laughs and together we walk back to the car, him opening the door for me again and closing it once i'm inside.

how did i get so lucky? without even looking for it, i found a prince, my prince.
