i look at christian.

"come on. my dad has clothes you can change into".

he nods his head.

"are you sure he won't mind?".

i shake my head.

"no come on".

leading him out of the kitchen i walk him up the stairs and into my room.

"my bathroom is through that door. i'll be right back", i say leaving him while i go to my parents room.

rummaging through my dads clothes, i find a pair of sweatpants and a t shirt.

walking back to my room, i knock on the bathroom door before walking into it and hand him the clothes.

"i'll be in the closet", i tell him.

he chuckles.

"where should i put my clothes?"

i open the small closet where my laundry basket is and point to it.

"i'll wash them for you", i tell him.

he nods his head and kisses my cheek.

butterflies, every time.

i walk out of the bathroom and into my closet.

grabbing a random pair of sweatpants i grab a lose fitted long sleeve shirt and change.

moving my flour covered clothes into a pile i walk out of the closet.

christian is already sitting on my bed.

"ready to clean the kitchen?", he asks.

i sigh.

"no but we have to or my moms gonna throw a fit".

he gets up from my bed and together we walk back down the stairs and go into the kitchen.

we start cleaning off the flour from the counters and throwing stuff in the trash.

-

we're just finishing when i hear the door open.

"hello?", i hear my mom call.

"in the kitchen, mom!", i say back.

i hear bags being put in the closet and my mom along with my sister and grandma walk into the kitchen.

"hello again, dear", my nan says giving christian a hug.

"nice to see you again", my mom says giving him a smile.

"why is he wearing dads clothes?", maggie asks.

christian and i look at eachother.

"we kind of made a mess making cookies", i answer.

my mom looks at the both of us.

"oh really?"

i shrug.

"we cleaned up, obviously", i say looking around the kitchen.

she smiles.

"well good". she says. "where's your dad?"

"he's outside", i respond.

christian looks at me.

"i should get going".

i nod my hand and take his hand.

"i'll walk you out".

he turns to my family.

"nice seeing you guys all again".

my mom smiles.

"you're welcome here anytime".

i walk with him to the door and i close it behind me.

"remember we have ice skating tomorrow", i tell him.

he turns to look at me.

"i'll call you then".

he pulls me into him and kisses me lightly.

"bye, christian".

he lets me go.

"see you tomorrow, jessica"
