Monday Night

Budo finally reached Ayano's house, but had to think of a way in. He was contemplating whether he should go over and knock on the door, acting completely casual, or sneak in without her noticing. He still isn't 100% sure that number was telling the truth, but the fact that Ayano was also absent from school today made him believe that they were telling the truth.

Budo wasn't about to take the chance that they could be lying as Taro is definitely missing and could be in serious danger. Budo was thinking about calling the police, but that could end badly. Ayano could do something to Taro when she's cornered. Budo didn't even want to think about it.

He hid behind a bush, and looked at the window that showed the living room. He saw Ayano come out of a door looking frustrated. She turned her head towards the window, and Budo quickly ducked down before she could see him.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ayano was losing her patience with Taro. She knew he wasn't going to be comfortable with her at first, but she has told him countless times she was going to take good care of him, and he still won't give in to her. Maybe it's because he believes Budo is going to come rescue him or something.

Like that was going to happen. Ayano has fooled everyone with the façade that she is an innocent school girl. No one will ever expect her to be the one who kidnapped Taro. Budo has never been the brightest kid, and it would take him a miracle to find Taro.

However, Taro is still in love with Budo and not with her. That needs to change. Ayano couldn't kill Budo, as much as she wanted to, because Taro would never love her then. Maybe she could try to set Budo up to look like he gave up on Taro after he went missing. She knows a lot of the girls at school fancied him. If she convinces one of the girls to confess to Budo, Ayano could snap a picture and show Taro.

Yes! Perfect idea, Ayano!

Ayano yawned, and headed upstairs to get ready for bed.

Budo peaked from behind the bush, and saw Ayano go upstairs. This was the perfect opportunity. Budo looked around, and saw one of the windows slightly ajar. For a kidnapper, Budo expected her to have all the windows and doors bolted lock, but I guess not. Budo snuck over to the window, and as quietly as he could, he opened the window.

He creepily climbed through the window, and tried to stay as quiet as he possibly could. He waited to hear if Ayano was coming down the stairs. When he wasn't hearing any footsteps, he tiptoed his way to the door he saw Ayano come out of. He opened it to find it looking like a normal closet. It had a coat rack and a dresser, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Until Budo looked down, and saw skid marks on the floor. Suspicious, Budo quietly pushed the dresser out of the way to reveal a door. Budo waited another few seconds to hear any footsteps, but everything was quiet.

He turned the door knob, and slowly opened the door. It looked to be a basement, but what basement is hidden like this? Budo turned on the light and walked down the stairs. He turned his head towards the room while walking down the stairs, and that's when he found his boyfriend, gagged and blindfolded while tied to a chair.

"Taro!" Budo whispered. He has never been more relived in his life.

As soon as Taro heard the sound of Budo's voice, he jolted his head up and tried to callout for Budo.

"Shhhhh! It's ok, Taro. I'm here. We're gonna get you out of here. You just have to be quiet." Budo whispered. He took the gag and blindfold off Taro, and they looked each other in the eyes.

"Budo! Oh my God... I-I knew you would come!" Taro couldn't help but get teary eyed.

Budo slowly brought his hand to Taro's cheek, and started caressing it. Taro gave a small smile, but moved his head away from Budo's hand. Budo retreated his hand to his side, his relief turned to concern.

"Taro...?"

"I'm sorry, Budo. It's not you... It's just... she... she..."

"Oh, Taro... what did she do to you?"

"She-" Taro was interrupted by the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. "Shit! You have to hide! If she finds you here, she'll kill you!"

"W-Where do I hide?! The basement door is open! She'll know someone is in here!"

"Just close the closet door! She already told me goodnight!"

Budo nodded, and quickly and quietly ran up the stairs and closed the closet door.

Ayano walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water, and she looked back at the closet door. She contemplated going in there, and admire Taro for a little while longer, but it was getting late and she had school tomorrow. She walked back upstairs with her glass of water.

As soon as Taro was free from his bounds, he leaped out of the chair and into Budo's arms. The two shared a long kiss before breaking the lip lock.

"Alright, let's get out of here and call the police." Before Budo could walk up the stairs, he was halted by Taro tugging on his arm.

"Budo..." Budo looks back at Taro, who was shaking like a fawn standing up for the first time. "Please don't let her take me... I... I don't want us to be parted forever!"

Budo sighed, and pulled Taro in for another hug. "Don't you worry, Taro. I won't let her harm you."

Budo and Taro quietly sneak out of the basement, and once they saw the coast was clear, they made their way to the window Budo entered through. Except that Budo stopped in his tracks once they got to the window.

"What's wrong?" Taro asked.

"I didn't close the window."

"What?" Taro mumbled as he looked at the closed window.

"Well look at what we have here." Taro and Budo froze at the sound of her voice.
