"Hi honey, how are you doing." Patrick said walking into their master bedroom, "Not too good. I dont feel good now. And hes been out since we got home." Ellen said, "Im sorry honey." Patrick said stroking her hair, "Is there anything i can do for you?" Patrick added, "You can put the kids to bed!" Ellen said, "But bring Juliette in here, she needs to be fed." Ellen added, "Will do. Talula is already reading in her room and Sul is just chilling so this should be easy." Patrick said smiling. A half our later he came back into the room with Juliette and a bottle, "You feed her, Im trying to cuddle with my boy." Ellen said smiling and pulling a Sleeping Darby closer to her chest. "Oh alright." Patrick said starting to feed Juliette, "I love you Ellie." Patrick said, "I love you too. Goodnight." Ellen said half asleep, "You better not get sick like them J!" Patrick said looking at his 5 month old daughter, She was petite like Ellen, but had the deepest blue, ocean colored eyes, with dark brown curly hair. As soon as Juliette fell asleep he layed her next to Darby and Ellen who were sleeping and took a Picture and posted it on instagram.
"mommy, Darbs, and J."
Is what he captioned the picture. He moved Juliette into the bassinet next to their bed because he didnt want to risk anything with Darby also in their bed, and then Patrick also went to sleep.

6:15 am, next morning. (april 3rd)
The next morning, Ellen woke up and immediately ran to the toilet to throw up. It was a mix of morning sickness feeling, and actual sick feeling. Which was the worst. Patrick came into the bathroom to comfort her and hold back her hair, "you okay El?" Patrick said, "No but i will be. Can you go check Darbys temp while hes still sleeping so he doesnt flip out?" Ellen said, "Sure" He said walking out, "El, i think he needs to go in. Hes at 104.1" Patrick shouted from the bedroom to the master bath, "Oh my god! You bring the other kids to Kate and Erics and Ill take him in. Now!" Ellen said going into a mom panic, she wrapped him in a blanket and put him in the car and went. She took him into the ER and they put him into a trauma room, "He needs a Neuro and Peds consult. Hes got a 104.1 fever and anything above 104 can cause brain damage." Ellen started to say panicking as the doctor came in, "Okay Mrs Dempsey, calm down. Let me check him out first." The doctor said taking his temperature, "Jeez. 104.5" The doctor said, "Dr. James, page peds." The doctor said to his intern, "Mrs Dempsey, he will be just fine. We just want to make sure everything is okay first." The doctor said. Soon after, a pediatrician walked in, "Hello Mrs Dempsey, is this Mr Darby i see?" She said, "Oh please, Call me Ellen." Ellen replied back, "Ill run some tests, but have his Ears been bugging him at all?" Dr Jenson (the pediatrician) Asks, "Well yes, hes been being weird about his ears since yesterday." Ellen said, "Im sure its just an ear infection, but Ill run tests just in case." Dr Jenson said walking out.

"Hey Patty, hes doing okay. Just an ear infection and now waiting for his medicine and we will be on our way." Ellen said on the phone with Patrick, "Good. I just dropped off the other kids and now im at set. Just checking in, im gonna see how many scenes i have today and if its less then 5 then ill tell shonda im doing them tomorrow and come home" Patrick said, "Okay, i love you." Ellen said, "I love you too. Bye" Patrick said hanging up the phone. "Alright Ellen, Here is his medicine. Just do a full one of those syringes every night before bed for 10 days and he should be fine. He can start going back to school next week on monday." Dr Jenson said, "Okay thank you so much!" Ellen said picking up Darby and leaving. She put him in the car and started to drive home. "Hi Honey, we're on our way home." Ellen said calling Patrick, "So am I. Im gonna have Justin pick up the kids later so I can be at home with you" Patrick said, "Okay. Ill see you in a bit" Ellen said hanging up the phone. A few minutes later she pulled into the driveway, Darby fell asleep in the backseat so she put him in her and Patrick's bed and layed down with him.  She ended up falling asleep with him laying on her chest but soon woke up to the sound of Patrick being home, "Hi Sweetie. I brought you some tea to hopefully make your stomach feel better." Patrick said walking in their room, "Aw thank you!" Ellen said. She had the tea then fell right back to sleep, But Patrick stayed up playing on his phone and of course took pictures of her and Darby sleeping. Ellen was asleep until the flash of Patricks phone camera woke her up, "Oh my Patrick you have got to stop taking pictures of us!" Ellen said dozing back to sleep. All he did was laugh.

Justin pulled into the driveway with Talula, Sullivan, And Juliette around 5, Patrick got them at the front door. "Heres Juliettes diaper bag." Justin said handing Patrick the baby and the bag, "Thank you so much Justin, We appreciate it." Patrick said pointing for Talula and Sullivan to go inside, "No problem. Any time. Hows Ellen and Darby?" Justin asked, "Darby has been sleeping all day, he has a ear infection. And Ellen has normal morning sickness that isnt actually in the morning because it lasts all day, and shes been throwing up from what Darby gave her. So not too good." Patrick said, "Oh no. Well tell her im thinking about her and we hope to see you guys back soon. Bye Pat!" Justin said getting in his car and driving away. "Alright T, why dont you watch a movie with Sullivan while i make dinner." Patrick said walking inside, "Sullivan, what do you wanna watch?" Talula said sitting on the couch, "Umm, Lion King!" Sullivan shouted. "T im gonna go check on Mom, yell if you need anything." Patrick said walking upstairs with Juliette. "Hi honey, feeling any better?" Patrick asked Ellen, "No, but i see you have a pretty cute baby that might make me feel better." Ellen said smiling, "Ah yes i do!" Patrick said handing Ellen Juliette.

again, sorry for the crappy chapter. itll start to get more interesting. the next chapter will have a time jump to august so 5 months, which seems like alot, but theirs nothing to write about at the moment. stick around tho, itll get good! thank you all for continuing to read. ❤️
