"Hi Ellen and Patrick, sorry to wake you so early." A Nurse came in saying, "Oh no its fine, what did you need?" Ellen said, "We need Charlotte to stay for at least another week. Shes very Jaundice and shes Premature, Even though she was born at 41 weeks. We're gonna do tests to see if she has a growth defect." The nurse said, "Oh okay. We just want her to be okay." Ellen said as she burst out crying, Patrick woke up off the couch from the sound of her crying, "Hey hey whats wrong?" Patrick said trying to calm her down, "Charlotte needs to stay for at least another week, they think she has a growth defect and she's Premature and Jaundice." Ellen said, "She will be okay El. She will be okay." Patrick said, "I know, but just worries me because sometimes this can lead to bad places" Ellen said wiping her tears. "She will be just fine Ellen." Patrick said kissing her forehead, "Can we take her for tests by any chance?" The nurse asked, "I think she needs a few more minutes." Patrick said as he saw Ellen hug Charlotte a little tighter. Patrick leaned over and hugged Ellen and kissed Charlotte's forehead before she was going to get her tests done. "Promise me she will be okay." Ellen said looking up at Patrick, "I promise you El." Patrick said crawling into the hospital bed with her and hugging her.

"Here she is guys. Sorry for the wait." The nurse said as she came back in with Charlotte, "What did you figure out?" Ellen asked taking her baby in her arms, "She has IUGR, Intrauterine Growth Restriction. We're not sure why it wasnt caught in utero, but good news is, shes fine. This wont harm her in the long run and she will catch up to normal size by age 2. She will always be petite, but not too small." The nurse said, "Oh thank god." Patrick said resting his hands on the back of his head pacing back and forth, "So shes fine? Youre sure of it?" Ellen said crying happy tears, "Shes fine. She will need the blue light treatment for about an hour or 2 everyday for the next week, and then you guys can go home!" The nurse said, "This is amazing Charlotte!" Ellen said looking at her newborn daughter, Patrick came up and kissed her forehead, "Ill leave you guys be" The nurse said leaving, "Can i hold her?" Patrick said, "Of course." Ellen said handing Charlotte to Patrick, he started walking around the room, pacing back and forth. Ellen heard him sniffle, he was crying, he looked up at her and she realized it was happy tears, he looked back down at Baby Charlotte, and she pulled out her phone to take a video. She went to post it on instagram just as she realized Kate was calling, "Hi Kate, how are you?" Ellen said, "Im good! Just checking in. Hows Charlotte and you and patrick?" Kate asked, "Im good. Charlottes good, Patricks crying like a little bitch baby." Ellen sais laughing, "Hey put her on speaker." Patrick said as Ellen turned on speaker, he could head Kate laughing, "Kate, i am NOT crying, my eyes were watering because i have dad hormones." Patrick said, "Mhmm." Kate said, "Oh whatever." Patrick said, Ellen turned off the speaker, "So can i come by the hospital really quick?" Kate asked, "Oh of course!" Ellen said, "Okay see you in an hour." Kate said hanging up.

"Hello hello!" Kate said walking in the room, "Hi Kate!" Ellen said, "I see bitch baby is sleeping with baby." Kate said whispering, "Ah yes he is." Ellen said, "I brought a gift for you, well for you and Charlotte." Kate said smiling, "Oh Kate. You didnt have to!" Ellen said, she grabbed the bag and pulled out a baby blanket with Charlottes name on it, "Oh Kate youre too sweet." Ellen said, she pulled out slippers too, "Those are Microwaveable heated slippers." Kate said laughing, "Thank you Kate." Ellen said laughing, "Can i hold her before i go?" Kate said, "Sure, just grab her, hes out cold." Ellen said, "Hi Charlotte! Aw youre so cute. Can I look at her hair?" Kate asked as she held Charlotte, "Kate you dont have to ask to look at my baby." Ellen laughed, "Holy Shit! Thats alot of hair!" Kate said, Charlotte had so much fluffly blonde hair on top of her head, "I know! I think she gets the amount of hair from Patrick, but the color from me." Ellen said, "Shes adorable. But i better go before Eric looses his mind with the triplets!" Kate said, "Theyre getting so big! I miss them." Ellen said, "5 months old in 2 weeks. Both of the boys have blonde hair with green eyes and Harper has blue eyes and red hair." Kate said, "I know i saw in the pictures. Theyre gorgeous. The boys look identical to Eric." Ellen said, "I know. Hes obsessed with all of them. Its hard to get him to go to work anymore." Kate said laughing, "Thats probably gonna be Patrick with Charlotte and Juliette, He doesnt ever wanna leave Juliette." Ellen said, "I bet. Well i better get going. I love you guys and you call if you need anything okay?" Kate said, "We love you too!" Ellen said as Kate left.

"Well goodmorning Mr Sleepyhead." Ellen said as Patrick woke up, "Wheres my baby?" Patrick said, "In my arms. Kate was here and wanted to hold her and you were sleeping so she just picked her up." Ellen said, Patrick got up off the couch and kissed Ellen, "Im gonna go shower." Patrick said, "Okay. Dont fall asleep in there." Ellen said laughing, "Ill try not to, but i cant promise anything." Patrick said laughing, "Charlotte your Dad fell asleep in the shower yesterday can you believe it? Yea me neither." Ellen said laughing admiring her baby, "Oh you opened your eyes! Bright blue just like J's!" Ellen said smiling as Charlotte opened her eyes, Juliette had the same hair color as Patrick, and bright blue eyes, Charlotte was blonde with bright blue eyes. They looked almost identical yet so different. Ellen remembered going to meet Darby and Sullivan when they were born, Charlotte looked just like Darby, and Juliette looked more like Talula.
