Girl With Fake Smile

Chapter 15

I have to reach on work at 8 a.m.  I wake up  around at 6 a.m. to make myself ready and I don't want to ruin my first day at work by getting late.

I prepare breakfast without disturbing my brother and his wife. I'm not good at cooking since cooking were done by my mom when she is with me. Still than, I try my best to make it delicious. I prepare tea for them as well .

I sit on sofa going through Facebook after I'm done with breakfast. I saw my brother looking into me with big eyes as if he saw ghost.

 "Hope  you didn't saw any ghost? " I said rolling my eyes with smile.

" Wh..y, why did you wake up that early?" he said.

I said " It nothing more. It's just that I don't want to be late on my first day  of work."

He just nod and enter into washroom .  After few minutes my brother is shouting as if he saw something strange. I follow his voice and I noticed that it's from kitchen.

" Wha... what the hell do you do? Why you have to do all those things? Why do you prepare breakfast?" he said.

" Is it touching, I said with more of  Joke. Ways, it's not a big deal. Why are you acting as if I had done something wrong. Just have, what I had prepared even though it's not delicious. I'm not a great cook" I said  looking at my phone.  

It's seven in the morning and I still have one hour. So I decide to leave only when there is 30 minutes. Luckily place that I will work is not far from my brother house. It will only take around 10 minutes if I'm not mistaken.

I saw baby was already wake up and playing with her toys. Soon  Khandu wake up rubbing his eyes. She went into washroom. After few minutes both brother and Khandu sit besides me to have breakfast.

Suddenly Khandu got up throwing plate on floor Making plate into two half. Anger written all over her face, she complain about curry. I don't know whether I'm  sad or angry or embress.  

" I'm sorry so so..rry. I just...jus...t..umm...I'm not  really good at cooking. And I try my best to make it delicious. I'm really sorry" I said tasting my tears that rush down my check.  I feel very sad and at that moment, I just want to run away to something that I don't have to face with Khandu.

So,I said goodbye to my brother, and leave for duty. I don't even know that I had reach at my destination untill I heard some voice. I was lost in my thought thinking about what happened a while ago. I can see few girls outside hotel wearing dress.  

I ask one of the girl with short hair who has white complexion about where is our boss office. She show me way which I follow behind him. I knock on door. Soon a voice says "come in". I open door slowly and made my way towards boss. He seems much younger than I thought.

The way he look at me made me to feel uncomfortable. He look at me from head to toe and agin from toe to head.

" Umm, I'm new which you hire. So I  will join from today" I said looking at my feet.

" Hey, are you afraid to look up at me? I have no looks that will afraid you and I won't eat you" he said looking into me.  

I gave him a fake smile and respond him that I'm not afraid.

 " I will excuse myself if u have nothing to say more" I said stepping outside.
