Misunderstandings And The F**K Boy

Subway and Terry's Party

Lucy's POV

Spencer had been kind of weird with me all week, not rude but  cold and distant.   He spoke and acknowledged me.  I had noticed he had kept his distance when he had joint us for lunch sitting the furthest away from me as he could he didn't cause any awkwardness but he wasn't the same, he wasn't his usual laughing or joking self.  He was always smiling but I didn't catch him smile once.  He would always flirt with me, but nothing....not that I wanted that but there was something up he wasn't even really bantering with the lads.  It was like there was something on his mind he had been like this since he knew that I had seen him at the park.

Look I am not into him, I just worry about people when they have a sudden switch in their personality maybe this was nothing to do with what happened between us he may have more serious things going on behind the scenes, home life, football....could be the amount of different girls he has got going on at the same time....I don't know?  Maybe I had been a bit harsh in my last text when I told to  "take better care of his new bird don't want Stacey giving her a beating as well, I'm over it" oh it is what it is, I don't have time to worry about Spencer.   I have to much going on in my own life to worry about someone else.  He will be fine I'm sure of that and he will bounce back from whatever this is he has Terry's party to contend with and no doubt Spencer F**k Boy Jackson will end up with someone.

Asher and Lourdes was going to the party and no doubt I will her all the gossip.

After school us girls popped to the High Street, they wanted something new to wear to the party this was going to be painful with Lourdes....god love her but she was a nightmare when it came to  shopping, I lay money after trawling around 6 shops she will go back to the first shop and pick out and get  the original outfit she found first! 

Asher gets a text from Jahmal telling her they are all in Subway and to come meet them.

We head to Subway and I don't know why but I feel a bit nervous cos I know Spencer will be with them and I don't want an atmosphere.

We head into Subway and see them at the back sitting around a large table.  They are all there except Spencer.  I feel my heart sink a bit maybe he is joining them later...is he not here cos he knew I would be here?

The awesome foursome are chatting between themselves, so it is just me, Perry and Craig chatting to be fair it was light hearted chat and laughter between us....then I clock on another table is Stacey and her shitty little crew....her eyes on me all the time as she walks over to the table we are all sat around.

"Perry where is Spencer?" she asks in that whiney voice of her.

"I dunno, I'm not his f*****g keeper" Perry says nastily to her.

"You meeting him here" She asks with desperation in her voice.

"What the f**k has it got do with you if I am? What's the matter....is he not returning your calls or texts...get the message sweetheart he ain't in to you" Perry says and laughs at her he moved and turns his back to her and Stacey walked away back to her table.

Perry looks directly at me and I have to remove my eye contact from his it's like that statement he just made was for my benefit....to let me know Spencer had dropped all contact with Stacey?

Craig laughs and says

"When will she get the message....she is such a scrape that girl" and as awful as this sounds he makes me laugh Craig doesn't say much but when he does it is proper comical. Perry is also laughing at Craig's comment....it's the way he says things....

Perrys phone rings

"SPENC" he answers, Perry get up from the table, giving Craig a nod and heads outside to take the call.

Perry is outside for about 5 minutes clearly talking to Spencer but I am distracted watching Perry's body language as he chats to Spencer catching his facial expressions when he faces my way.  I can see Perry is laughing and smiling away during his conversation with Spencer.

Perry comes back in smiling and joins us again.

"Where is he at" Craig asks

I don't know why but I'm glad Craig asked that cos I wanted to ask but didn't want to come across desperate like Stacey.... maybe he is with Chloe or god knows who else.

"Just finished training" Perry says.

"Is he on his way over" Craig asks.

"Nah he's not says he will meet you down the station later when you do your set, Spenc said he will sit in" Perry says to Craig.

"Cool ...you hitting the gym later" Craig asks Perry.

"Yeah catch you both after your set be at the gym for about 22.30" Perry says.

"Wicked" Craig's simple reply to Perry.

I feel a bit gutted  that Spencer was a no show and I knew Perry had clocked this.

I had seen Spencer round school on Friday but it was pretty much the same as it had been, he is definitely off with me.

The girls did go to Terry's party, Asher and Jahmal are now official, proper girlfriend and boyfriend material.  BUT the biggest bit of gossip was that Spencer was not at the party? No one knew where he was really, he bailed out at the minute apparently he said he wasn't well which was totally unheard of with that lot.....none of them ever  miss a party and if he was meeting someone then surely Ant or Jahmal would of let it slip to either Asher or Lourdes....Spencer was a big personality and to not be at a party he said he was going was major.  

Asher told me Stacey was at the party and had approached Perry asking where Spencer was at but apparently he replied to her with a one finger salute. 😂
