"Aro wants us incapacity before he attacks," Edward said, seeming perfectly sure of this, "Jane and Alec will try to take me out first because I can anticipate their moves." Well duh, who'd want to go against Edward? He'd take you down once you think of an attack plan. Edward smiled at me, nodding a slight bit, telling me I was right. And also, what about me? I could weaken the witch twins' gifts so people could attack. Hello? " Too bad we don't have your shield," Garrett frowned. "Doesn't help me fight though," Bella said sadly, slightly grimacing. "But it can help the rest of us if you can project it," Tanya nodded. "What do you mean?" "I mean shield someone other than yourself," Tanya explained patiently. "Is that possible?" Bella asked. Why would we talk about it if it weren't possible? "Gifts can be developed over time," Carlisle allowed. "At first mine were just in my palms, now I can radiate it all over my body," Kate told Bella, lifting her palmed. "How do you do it?" "Uhm..." Kate was trying to find words to explain and when Kate took more than five seconds Bella practically crushed my sister's hand. "Tell me," she insisted. "Ow?" Kate said as a question but walked out the door with Bella follow her. " You need to visualize it. See how it moves. What color it is. Picture it expanding. Will it go beyond you," I said, not asking. Bella tried and Kate smirked. "I think she needs something to motivate her." I glanced at Edward, knowing what this meant. "And, as for you Maggie. Do not weaken my electrokinesis," Kate glowered at me playfully. "Fine fine," I pouted. Edward trudged forward to where Bella was and about half a foot away from her. "No," Bella objected. "It's alright, I can take it," Edward soothed. "Focus Bella. Or he's going to be hurting," Emmett grinned evilly as Kate put one hand up and pushed it closer to Edward's hand - almost touching. "Edward I'm not ready to do this ye-" Bella was cut off by Edward's screams of pain and falling to the ground - his neck closest to Kate's hand. "I'm sorry, I said I wasn't ready," Bella stuttered. "Dude you're not motivating her," Emmett kicked a rock. Edward's eyes were so wide you could see whites all around, "You want to try?" Emmett put his hands up, I could imagine I'm saying 'I surrender' Kate pressed her palm on Edward's neck. I felt bad for Edward and weakened Kate's gift a tiny bit just before Edward screamed again. I guess it wasn't faded enough yet. "Kate!" It turned out Bella was shielding right then. "You seem to be lacking incentive. Shall I go see if Renesmee's awake?" I asked, grinning and leaping away from Bella and Edward. They would kill me if I did. "You crazy?" Bella questioned my sanity. "Alright? This one's on full power," Kate smiled cheekily. Edward rolled his head in a circle and then nodded. "It's painful but it's bearable," Edward finally nodded, his face relaxed. "Okay, we should go again!" Bella cheered. "Emmett?" Edward suggested. "NO!"
