Chapter 8

Maggie's Point of View

"It doesn't matter what I show you, Even when you see, you still won't change your mind," Alice almost shouted before turning around and mouthing, "Now," at us. Bella looked at Jacob. "Take care of my daughter," was all she said. Jacob nodded in his wolf form and took off. "Get them," Caius hissed. Alice did some kind of gymnastics move that was like a handstand, with a series of different flips. Whatever it was, she kicked Aro in the chin and he went flying back. The pack growled and the Volturi leader barked out command after landing on his feet a few meters back. "Take her away." The idiotic mindless guards surrounded Alice, yanking her away. "LET HER GO," Carlisle shouted charging at the evil Volturi, hitting any protectors of the so-called Volturi that got in his way before jumping up about twenty feet in the air. Aro charged as well and beheaded Carlisle in the air after he had slammed into him. Aro held up Carlisle's head and tossed it to the floor, only to have Caius set fire to his remains. I glanced at everyone next to me, expressions ranging from anger, disapproval, and shock. Alice was the only one that wasn't surprised, she had seen the future and was thrashing in the Volturi's arms. I took off running and was far ahead of Edward, I ducked just in time to see a guard flying towards me and into Edward's grasp, who began to behead the guard. I glimpsed behind me for a split second to see Garrett decapitating a guard. Jane walked around and used her gift on Jasper. I guess Bella was also shielding at the moment because Alec turned at tackled her. A vampire attacked me and I weakened his vampire strength swiftly kicked him off of me, just in time to see Jasper die. "NO!" I heard Alice screamed, her voice echoed across the battlefield. Alice did another series of flips and turns and miraculously got out the Volturi's hold. I turned to my left to see Kate shock someone and Tanya rip a person's arms off. I turned to Edward, who was lying in the snow. A guard was about to kill him. A tan wolf launched itself at the guard that was going to kill Edward and Seth beheaded him. Jane used her gift on him and my eyes widened. A guard hugged Seth but squeezed him so hard that I could hear the crack sounds of the bones. Within moments, the tan wolf was dead. Leah howled after whimpering. I glanced over to Benjamin and he locked eyes with me then he punched the floor, and if I didn't know what his gift was, I would question his sanity. An avalanche opened in the ground and I helped Bella dispose of three Volturi guards by kicking them into the crack in the floor. I got tackled over by another guard. How many guards were there? I landed at the edge of the landslip that Benjamin created. I was going to die. I was gripping the edge of the snow-covered cliff unsuccessfully. I was slipping. I looked up from my slipping hands saw Leah tumbling over and she lunged at the stupid vampire that was dragging me down and kicked him off. Which made her fall into the crevice along with the guard, saving me. I looked down at Leah. I looked to my right, to see Edward falling in after Leah, gripping rocks to try to jump up, when I thought I knew Edward was going to die, my oldest cousin lept up and kicked a random guard off Bella. Alice was charging Jane, her eyes burning and rage. I glanced at the witch twin and saw that she was trying to use her gift on Alice. I guess Bella was shielding because I wasn't doing any gift weakening right now. Now that Jane finally realized what was happening, she began to run. Alice did some kind of gymnastics thing again and landed in front of Jane. She grabbed the pain inflicter by the neck and tossed her to Sam, who aggressively ripped her apart. Did Alice take gymnastics? Caius charged at my sisters and I raced over, beating him over. Garrett punched Caius into Kate's arms, who shocked Caiu's neck. I skipped over and ripped Caius's head off by gripping his mouth and ripping it. The Romians ran over to where Marcus was and ripped off his limbs. Edward got grabbed by Aro, but then Bella hoisted herself onto Aro's shoulders and choked the Volturi leader.
