Angel p.o.v

I focused as hard as I could on what was happening in my surroundings to keep the creeping drowsiness at bay. My limbs were heavy and skin numb from whatever I keep being given. It was spiderwebs, cotton and circling dust covering much of what I should know, and a cracking fake veneer that these... Creatures, I now realize, had put up in front of my reality. Even so, my mind still wanted to veer back to being 'Angel' with a mom, a dad and two siblings.

The swish of clothes and pattering of feet. The knowledge that Aeri was still right there was the only thing that kept me from smacking my head, trying to drive one or the other back in to place. The truth or the lie. Right now, they were both fighting for the place as the 'reality' in my mind. I couldn't tell which one would be better.

Suddenly, I sensed Aeri's face centimeters from my own. Light breath sprinkling against my cheek and lips. Deep breath in by Aeri. I kept mine slow. Light. Natural. The creature neared, nose sliding along my jaw and neck before returning to my cheek and licking it.
"Sweet," Aeri murmured at the corner of my lips. He licked and sucked at them before leaning back. "Too bad we can't play with you yet. While I like punishment, only the fun kind is my jam; can't disappoint Daddy."

With that, Aeri stumbled around, moving random objects and the sound of different clothes continued within the room, followed by some clicking, and a tinny voice, "Bored already?"

"Bae, you know how I am. Where can we meet?"

"It sounds to me like you want to be naughty," A voice trying to be sexy filtered through. "I'll open a room for us. Scarlet sound good, or you more for an audience with the Velvet room?"

"Scarlet," Aeri hissed into the phone. "I'll be there soon. Keep it our secret."

"That-"

A click was heard, cutting off the tinny sound. The room was quiet.

A hand landed on my head- I did everything I could in my power not to react to anything in the room. I shrank into my bones, unable to touch my flesh and skin, nothing on there had anything to do with me. If not for keeping that focus, I'm sure I would have flinched.
The hand ran along my head, cheek, neck, shoulder, chest, hip, thigh. Between my legs, it rubbed up and down, "Be back soon."

The door soon opened and closed.
The elevator dinged.
Quiet aside from the light sounds of the television replaced the earlier vivacity of Aeri. I couldn't help but shudder.

They weren't my family. I didn't know who they really were, but something in my mind was broken for good or ill. And that broken piece smashed against the other delicate objects lying to me in my mind, creating more spiderwebs.
I gagged. Rubbed at my mouth and shivered at the phantom sensations left by Aeri.

Moving, the room felt odd. No, it was me, like sinking in pudding and my limbs not able to keep up with what my brain wants them to do. I crawled, knowing there was no way I could move my limbs well enough to walk. Even then, I knocked into something that landed on my splayed legs. There was a bang and pop. I felt around it... It took me a while before my addled mind spit out an answer: floor lamp. I had heard the lightbulb in it break. There were some shards on the ground. Thankfully, Aeri left a lot of clothes on the ground everywhere, so I just covered it with one.

Where was I going? Bathroom. I felt nauseous; I had to keep reminding myself what to do. Water. Everything was drugged in this room except what, hopefully, came from the faucet. Each wall I banged into surprised me, and when I finally felt the cool tile under my heated hand, I couldn't hold back the sigh.

I scraped up, clumsily opening the tap and gulping down the water before my stomach suddenly roiled and I vomited everything back up, then some. While this was fantastically horrible, it also helped. I splashed my face, washed out my mouth and drank another stomach-full of water. After relieving myself, while weak, I had more control over my limbs. I quickly scrounged around for clothes, kicking into and over several miscellaneous objects, some of which broke.

Rummaging through the bags, I changed out my clothes to something a bit more modest, most likely Aeon's from the smell and commandeered one of the many bags on hand before tripping over the floor lamp again. Landing on my hands and knees, I banged my fist on the ground out of frustration, feeling time I didn't have slip away. My hands out in front of me wasn't the cure-all when trying to move around in general.

The cold feel of the fine body of the floor lamp reached my senses. I felt around, finding the ends and sat it upright, using it to stand up...
And tore off the top with the broken bulb and broke the standing base, the sound of wires sliding out of the now simple metal tube. While it didn't help much considering all the clothes on the floor, something about it being in my hand gave me a spurt of confidence, like I had used something or done something like this before.

At the door, I rifled through the jackets there, picking out a longer hooded one and donning it along with the bag. Metal pole in hand, I opened the door after checking and not hearing any sounds of life, my biggest focus being on reaching the elevator 15 steps away... And not being found before I've even had the chance to get away.
