Akaashi stared at himself in the mirror, shaking. Bokuto walked up behind him and sighed. "You okay?"

"I-I'm so... so sorry."

"Shhhh." Bokuto kissed his temple. "We can try again next month. Our little miracle will happen."

"I don't want to do this anymore!" Akaashi turned around and held on to the older male. "That's the third time! I don't want to lose anymore children! I just want a baby... I want my baby..."

Koutarou kissed his forehead and hair. "It's okay... it really will be okay. Let's get you back to bed, okay?"

Akaashi nodded. He followed him to their room and laid down. Bokuto held him close, letting out his scent. "K-Ko...?"

"Hm?"

"You're not mad at me, are you? I keep losing them. I don't mean to but I keep doing it."

Bokuto took a deep breath. "You can't help it."

"But..."

"No sweetheart, no. You really can't help it. We'll try again, okay?"

"Okay." He sighed and turned slightly. Bokuto put his hands against his stomach. "Does it hurt?"

"Not really..."

Bokuto kissed his forehead. "I love you. Sweetheart we're going to have our baby. If you want. If you don't want to then it's okay. Just... whew..." He sat up. "I'm gonna go get you ice cream."

"I don't want ice cream."

"Okay..." Bokuto looked over. "What is going to make you feel better?"

"I just want to be held." Bokuto laid back down and held onto him. Akaashi held him close. "We can try again. I want this baby. I really do."

"We'll try again."

"Thank you."

Bokuto held him close and kissed his hair. "Sweetheart, we'll be okay. This baby is going to be okay."

Kuroo ran up to Akaashi, grinning. "So how is the little guy?"

"What?"

"Your baby!"

Akaashi closed his eyes, focusing on not letting a signal of distress out. "Kuroo, I lost the baby."

"O-oh God are you okay?"

"I'm okay." He opened his eyes. "I got to hold her before she was taken away. She was there for eleven weeks this time."

"That's not very long... are you sure you're okay?" Kuroo questioned.

"T-That's the longest I've ever... been able to keep..." Akaashi's lip quivered. He walked past Kuroo, heading back to his office. He sat down and put his head in his hands. "How the hell do I keep losing them? I do everything right. I eat right. I don't drink. I take my medicine..."

He turned and looked at his calendar. There was a little heart at the start of his next heat. Bokuto must have put it there. Akaashi put his head on his desk.

"Mm." He relaxed into his desk, drowsy. The door opened and he looked up. "Hey..."

Bokuto smiled. "Hey there. You want something to eat?"

"No thanks." Akaashi put his head down again. "I start in two weeks. Do you really think we can manage to get one to stay?"

Bokuto closed the door and sat down. "Well, yeah. Of course we can get one to stay. Hell, maybe we can even get two to stay!"

Akaashi sighed. "What if... it's a boy this time?"

"Then it's a boy."

"And a girl?"

"A girl."

"Both?"

Bokuto blinked. "Like twins? That's... woah."

Akaashi chuckled. "Imagine if we did have twins. That would be amazing."

Bokuto chuckled quietly and leaned over. "Would you like that?"

"Honestly, I don't mind. The more the merrier." He smiled. "Koutarou, do you want to try for twins? We can't control it so to say but any child is good enough for me."

"That sounds great." Bokuto kissed his head. "Let's go eat, okay?"

"Mm. I need a nap."

"Sounds good." Bokuto circled the desk and set him down on the couch on the other side of the room. "Later I'll bring you something to eat." He covered Akaashi in a blanket. Akaashi stared up at him. "You feeling alright?"

"I feel okay."

"Great." Bokuto leaned down and kissed his head. "I love you..."

"I love you too."

Bokuto walked out, turning off the light. He stood outside the door for a moment before smelling the distress lingering on his clothes. Akaashi's scent. Bokuto wanted to turn around and hold the younger male close and tell him it would be okay and that they would have their pup. That they'd have the little family Akaashi wanted so bad.

Akaashi loved children and everyone knew it. He'd babysitted so many nights and held so many children that it was practically no shock when he'd hold someone else's child. Especially his close friends. He'd plain out picked up Suga's son the first time he'd seen him and sat with Sugawara, smiling at the child.

Bokuto had watched and decided right then and there that he'd have a family with Akaashi. Two years and three miscairrages later, both of them were getting desperate.

It was hard enough for him to get pregnant and even harder for him after losing his child. The first time it had happened, Akaashi hadn't talked for three weeks and stayed in his room for a month. He'd become depressed and not wanted to talk about children. When Suga had come over to help him out his son's typical baby powder scent was still on him and Akaashi had cried.

All he wanted was a little miracle.

Was that so much to ask for?

Sugawara looked over, worried. "Akaashi, you've been staring at that article for the past six minutes and haven't scrolled. Are you okay?"

Akaashi turned off his phone and took a deep breath. "I have to go to the doctor today."

"For?"

"Some sort of shot that helps me out to get pregnant... I'm a little scared..."

"Oh! I know that type of thing!" Suga smiled. "You're gonna try again?"

"Definitely." Akaashi kicked his feet. "We're really hoping that this one stays. It's very painful when I miscarry..."

"Well, I'm sure this one will stay." Suga leaned against him. "You know would be nice right now?"

"Hm?"

"Some really good chicken."

"What? Why?"

"I dunno."

Akaashi leaned down and sniffed. "You smell sweet." He sniffed again. "Sugawara..."

"Hm?"

"You're pregnant, aren't you?"

"Woah! No way! Daichi and I are super safe so that I don't get pregnant again!" He sat up and pulled out his phone. "Besides, my heat is-" He froze. "Was supposed to be two weeks ago... shit."

Akaashi sighed. "Congratulations."

"Wait! we don't know if I'm pregnant!"

"Suga, you're showing the obvious signs."

"I'm so sorry... I really am."

Akaashi shook his head, getting up. "It's fine. I'll be in my office."
