Bokuto turned, making sure Akaashi was okay. The younger male was flipping through something on his phone, standing in front of a series of cereal boxes. He smiled.
"Kashi."
"Why? I mean what." Akaashi groaned. He rubbed his eyes. "I'm tired, sorry."
"You're so cute." Bokuto kissed his temple. "I'll be right back.
"Mm. Okay."
When Bokuto came back he hurried back to Akaashi, not liking his pained expression. "Hey, hey, hey what's wrong?"
"I need you to growl at the baby. Quietly. I need to see if they'll move."
Bokuto nodded and leaned down. He growled at Akaashi's swelled stomach. "They moved. Why'd I do that?"
"Some kid ran by and accidentally pushed my stomach. It hurt."
"Shit are you okay? Does it still hurt?" Bokuto started sniffing, trying to see if he was okay.
"No, it doesn't hurt. Not right now at least."
Bokuto nodded. "Okay, okay. Let's check out and get you home." He hurried Akaashi out of the store and home again where Akaashi sat on their bed, watching Bokuto rub his stomach and quietly growl at him.
Akaashi rubbed his hair, not minding. It had stopped hurting now but having anything hit his stomach it was worrying. "Koutarou, it's okay. They're okay now. No need to worry."
"Are you sure?"
"They move whenever you growl at them and I don't feel anymore pain. I'm sure everything is okay now."
Bokuto nodded. He stood properly and got Akaashi to follow him to the kitchen where he started making something for Akaashi to eat.
"Koutarou."
"Yeah?"
"Can I have a kiss?"
"Yeah!" Bokuto kissed him, smiling. "I love you~"
"I love you too Koutarou." He yawned quietly and nuzzled his neck. "Oh you smell good."
"You always say that."
"Oh but you do." Akaashi hummed. He chuckled. "I love the way you smell." Akaashi looked up and laughed. "Don't look at me like that."
"Oh but you're so cute." Bokuto kissed him again and turned to the stove.
Akaashi yawned and watched as Bokuto made some sort of soup for him. After getting the soup into bowls and laying down in their bed Akaashi relaxed. He snuggled with Bokuto and listened to the rain outside, yet again feeling Bokuto's hand on his stomach. "You love touching my stomach, don't you?"
"Of course."
"Mm..."
"You've got a cute little baby in there." Bokuto kissed his forehead. "I love you and our little baby."
Akaashi smiled up at him. "Aw..."
Bokuto chuckled.
"Oh, oh bathroom." Akaashi sat up.
Bokuto helped him up and Akaashi headed to the bathroom. Bokuto curled up and yawned. Akaashi came back and laid down, cuddling up with him.
"Mm... okay. Now we can relax."
"Alright." Bokuto put his arms around him and kissed his forehead. "Have you thought of any names?"
"Yeah. I've only thought of boy names though."
"Wait. Really? I thought of girl names."
Akaashi chuckled. "Taro or Ichiro."
"Emiko, Koemi, or Megumi."
"Oh Emiko is pretty."
Bokuto hummed. "I think Ichiro sounds nice." He shifted and rubbed Akaashi's stomach.
"That feels nice." Akaashi mumbled. He got closer.
"You falling asleep?"
"Shhhh."
"Got it." Bokuto ran his fingers through his hair, smiling. Akaashi was so beautiful. He looked so tired but this would all be worth it in the end. They'd have their little miracle soon.

Bokuto hurried to Akaashi, worried. The younger male had flinched in pain and didn't smell like he was calm. "Keiji? Hey, hey, hey what's going on? Are you okay?"
"False contraction. It's okay." Akaashi shifted. "There. It stopped."
"Oh thank God..."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean it's too early and your bag isn't here. So I was nervous."
"You're a dumbass." Akaashi went back to his computer and sighed. "I'm hungry again..."
"Alright! What do you want?"
"I have no idea."
Bokuto whined. "Really?"
"I'm sorry, the last time I checked I was the pregnant one. Calm down." Akaashi sat up and subconsciously put a hand over his stomach.
Bokuto groaned. "Sorry... you want to just snack on something for now?"
"Sure." Akaashi got up and walked out.
Bokuto sighed. Having a pregnant mate was so much harder than he'd thought it was going to be. He picked up a pillow and put it on Akaashi's chair for him.
When the younger male came back with a little packet of cashews he stared at his chair. Bokuto was working again, calm. "Oh Koutarou..."
"Mm?"
"T-thank you..." Akaashi started crying quietly, a hand on the chair.
Bokuto tensed. "Keiji?!" He got up. "Woah, what's wrong? It's just a pillow sweetheart. If you don't want it I'll move it. Did I do something wrong?"
"No. No it's just... you're being so nice to me and I'm such a jerk all the time." Akaashi clung to Bokuto. "I can't help it. I'm trying so hard not to be a jerk but I'm being so mean to you..."
Bokuto hummed. He rubbed Akaashi's back. "It's okay. I know about the mood swings and stuff. I know about the cravings."
Bokuto eased Akaashi into his chair and kissed his forehead.
"I love you. I don't care how mean you are to me. I love you." He smiled. "As long as you love me everything is okay. Just lean back and relax, okay?"
Akaashi nodded and leaned back. "It feels much better now, thank you."
"No problem!" Bokuto got up and headed over to his desk. He got his computer and sat down next to Akaashi, typing away.
"When is your next practice with your friends?"
"Um..." Bokuto pulled up his schedule. "Beggining of July and in the middle of it."
"Alright."
"Why? You wanna come?"
"Sure." Akaashi yawned and set a hand on his stomach. "That's about a month from now."
"Yep! You're so smart." Bokuto laughed. "I'll bring you with me then and you can hang out with Suga and his little guys... and girl."
Akaashi hummed. "I guess so." He yawned again and put his head down. "Wake me up later. Or when you find some food."
