11. Labor

Bokuto looked over at the sound of a hiss of pain, worried. "Are you okay?"

Akaashi nodded. "I'm okay. Another false contraction."

"That seemed a little more painful than a false one." Bokuto pulled into a parking space and turned to Akaashi. "Try shifting and seeing if it stops."

"Okay." Akaashi shifted in his seat. He waited a few seconds before nodding. "That might have been real. I'm sure I'm fine for a bit though."

"Do we need to go to the hospital? Is it happening?"

"Koutarou. I will hit you. That's not the pain talking. I will hit you and that is a promise."

Bokuto gulped. "Noted. Do you want to go inside now?"

"Sure." Akaashi got out and headed off to the gym with Bokuto, holding his hand like normal. As the team warmed up and he was sitting with Sugawara, his kids, Oikawa, and Yamaguchi he had another "fake contraction". 

Sugawara scooted closer, worried. "What was that?"

"Oh I um... have been having false contracions all day." Akaashi took a deep breath. "I'm sure it's fine..."

"Woah, woah are you sure?"

"I'm sure."

"I'll start the timer." Oikawa mumbled. He opened his timer and started it. He looked down to the court. "Bokuto! Hey! When do you want to take him to the hospital?"

Bokuto looked up. " He told me when it's every seven minutes!"

"Thanks!"

Suga rubbed Akaashi's back. "You feeling okay?"

"It just hurts a little bit." Akaashi sat back and put a hand on his stomach. "Oh, they're kicking."

"Can I feel?" Yamaguchi questioned. 

Akaashi nodded. "Give me your hand."

Yamaguchi held up his hand and Akaashi eased it onto his stomach. "Oh wow that's so cool! Does it hurt?"

"Oh no, of course not. It feels like a gas bubble."

Yamaguchi smiled. His other hand held his t-shirt over his stomach. He looked to the volleyball court and hummed. 

Suga's eyes lit up. "Yama!"

Yamaguchi chuckled quietly. "Shhhh."

"Oh my God how long have you known?!"

"A month."

"Oh my God you need to tell him!"

"I don't know if Tsuki will be happy..." Yamaguchi took his hand away. "He doesn't really like kids." 

Sugawara huffed. "Well maybe if he doesn't like kids then he shouldn't have knotted you."

"I took a ton of tests and went to the doctors. All of it was positive. I just don't know how to tell him..."

"Tadashi!" Yamaguchi looked down. Tsukishima looked at him. "Where'd you put the water?"

"In my bag!"

Tsukishim nodded. He reached into Yamaguchi's bag to get his water bottle. Insted he pulled out a small box and stared at it. 

"Oh no. Oh no he found one..."

"Don't panic." Akaashi whispered. "I'm sure it's okay."

Tsukishima looked up at Yamaguchi. He walked up the bleachers quickly. "What is this? Did you take it already?"
