Bokuto looked at Akaashi, who was laying next to him. Akaashi sighed, sitting up. Bokuto quirked a brow. "Why are you tired?"
"Not sure..."
Bokuto leaned over and took a deep breath. His eyes widened. "You smell a lot sweeter now. Holy crap."
Akaashi shrugged. "Doesn't mean that much."
Bokuto put a hand on Akaashi's stomach and Akaashi smiled. "Oh my God."
Akaashi laughed quietly. "It was supposed to be a surprise."
"You're pregnant?!" Bokuto sat up, excited. "Oh my God it worked! We're going to have a kid!" Bokuto started peppering Akaashi's face in kisses. "I love you!"
Akaashi laughed again, tears welling up in his eyes. "Yes, we're going to have a kid." He hugged Bokuto, practically shaking.
Bokuto rubbed his back. "How far are you?"
"Thirteen weeks." Akaashi whispered.
Bokuto backed up and held his shoulders, shocked. "Keiji! That's the farthest you've ever gotten! This is going to work!"
Akaashi nodded. "I don't know how we didn't notice the whole time! But I got through my first trimester!"
Bokuto's lip started to quiver. "This is amazing..." Bokuto took him in his arms, gentler now. "Oh I'm so proud of you..."
Akaashi sniffed. "Give me your hand."
Bokuto put his hand in Akaashi's. The younger male put his hand on his stomach slowly.
"This is ours Koutarou."
Bokuto smiled. He gently moved Akaashi's shirt off of him and lowered so he could see Akaashi's stomach properly. "Aw. You've got a cute little baby bump!"
"It's not going to show while I'm wearing anything for a while. But yeah. I have a baby bump."
"I'm gonna kiss it!" Bokuto leaned down and kissed his stomach. "Mwah! Hi there little guy! Or girl!"
Akaashi smiled. He held Bokuto's hand in his for a moment. This was his mate. The father of his child. The most loving man he knew. Somehow, he knew that this time it would be okay.

Akaashi got up and walked over to Sugawara, who was filling out paper work. "Suga."
"Mm?"
"How far along are you in your pregnancy?"
"Now? Uh... twenty three weeks."
Akaashi nodded. "So you're ten ahead of me."
"I mean- wait." Suga looked up and then to Akaashi's stomach. "Holy shit congrats!"
"Thank you." Akaashi smiled.
"When did you find out?"
"Two weeks ago. It was difficult to keep it a secret but I think it was worth it. Koutarou has done nothing but love on me for the past two days and won't leave my side."
"His instincts! Yeah Daichi is itching to come here and hold me. I just scented a scarf and told him I'd be fine. I feel fine."
"That's great." Akaashi turned. "Speak of the devil."
Bokuto smiled. "Sorry but I wanna come hug you again. It's lonely by myself." Akaashi rolled his eyes. He opened his arms and Bokuto hugged him, giggling. "You smell so sweet."
"Thank you but you have work to do."
Bokuto whined. He held Akaashi a bit tighter. "Can I come into your office instead?"
"Why?"
"Because your little nest is there and I can make sure you and the baby are okay..."
"Fine." Akaashi looked to the side at Suga, who looked like he'd blow a casket at any second. "Suga are you okay?"
"I just lost another client!" He put his head down. "I hate this job."
"All we do is sell things though. Besides sales calls..."
"That's the third one I've lost this week!" Suga whined again.
"Okay... I'll leave you to it then."
"Thanks."
Akaashi walked off, bringing Bokuto with him. When Akaashi had gotten into his office Bokuto immediately went to the corner of the room where both of them had built a little fort made of pillows and blankets. Akaashi grabbed his laptop and sat down next to Bokuto.
"Kashi..." Bokuto pulled Akaashi to himself and kissed at his neck. "I wanna hold you..." He eased a hand onto his stomach. "How does your stomach feel?"
"Mm... it feels okay. It doesn't hurt any."
"Great!" Bokuto put Akaashi in his lap and rubbed his stomach. "Hey there little baby..."
Akaashi smiled. Bokuto looked at him before looking back to Akaashi's stomach.
"I'm your Dad..." Bokuto chuckled. "Probably not a very good one but I'm gonna try."
Akaashi took his hand and closed his eyes. "You're going to be a great father Koutarou. No need to worry."
Bokuto smiled wider. "You think so?"
"I know so."
Bokuto leaned to the side and hugged Akaashi close. "I love you."
"I love you too." Akaashi took in a deep breath. "I'm tired."
"You gonna take a nap?"
"Mhmm."
Bokuto nodded. "Go ahead and take a nap. I'll be right here for you when you wake up."
"Mm." Akaashi stretched an arm up and huffed.
"Hey, hey, hey what's your issue?"
"Shhhh."
Bokuto rolled his eyes and rubbed Akaashi's back. In no time Akaashi was fast asleep, his baby bump hidden in a mess of blankets and Bokuto's protective hold.
The door opened and Bokuto looked up. Instinctively, he growled at the man in the door way.
"Woah! Calm down Bokuto, I didn't come to mess with Akaashi. I'm just coming to get a packet of paper I needed."
"This is his nest. You're supposed to ask before coming in."
"I forgot. Calm down." Oikawa mumbled. "Is Akaashi okay?"
"He's tired. Go away."
"Damn okay." Oikawa left.
Bokuto looked back down and kissed Akaashi's forehead. "Mm..." He rubbed Akaashi's stomach. Akaashi was a pretty slim person so the bump was large and he was going to need to wear bigger clothes soon to hide it. But it was cute. "I love you Kashi..."
