Obito's POV
The next morning I sat in my bedroom. Valentina's ramblings about time traveling and then gasping for air for dear life disturbed me enough to the point of not letting me fall asleep.

I found himself holding a pen and  doodling on a notebook trying to keep myself distracted.

After Valentina had faked choking, she ran out her own bedroom without an explanation.

I had ran after her. Not precisely to continue making out, but out of fear of her revealing my identity but lost sight of her in the huge mansion. I would either have to trust she'll keep my identity hidden, or kill her.

She must be with Hidan, who was one of the few members who violated the curfew of staying in designated bedroom after 9pm. Or perhaps she was in Deidara's room. She was closer to him than to any other member.
Wherever she was, I am sure that I would see her again. She can't hide from me forever.

I was surprised when she walked into the hideout yesterday covered in blood. I was already accepting the idea that she was dead. Because of my stupid idea to get her to run away somewhere safe.

"Good morning, Tobi!"
My bedroom door opened abruptly and Lilian walked in with a bright smile on her face . "I'll make breakfast in a bit."

"Thank you, Lilian-chan!!" My eyes then travelled to Valentina who stood behind Lilian. Her eyes looked around my room as if it were something foreign to her, then her eyes travelled to the notebook paper I was doodling on.

I followed Valentina's eyes and noticed I had unconsciously wrote Rin's name in capital letters on a sheet of paper.
By the time I looked up at Valentina, she was out of sight. Probably had ran off to hide again.

"This is the clothes I bought you earlier today," I could hear Lilian talking to Valentina even after his bedroom door had been closed. "So you can stay warm."

After 30 minutes, I walked downstairs to the dining room where some members where already eating the breakfast Lilian cooked.

I wasn't going to eat. How could I eat in public when I was always wearing that bright orange mask?

Regardless of this, I took a seat in front of Deidara and Valentina.
They seemed to be laughing and whispering about something he couldn't hear.

Valentina's eyes met mine for a brief second before she quickly looked back at Deidara and continued listening to him talk.

When we locked eyes for a second time, Valentina's eyes exhibited a trace of heartbreak and betrayal. She instantly broke eye contact with me and turned to Hidan, who sat next to her and wrapped his arm around her.

"So Valentina, now that you're 13-"

"Gross Hidan. She's a minor you're too old for her." Deidara interrupted Hidan making a disgusted face.

"She needs a real man not a fucking 17-year-old inexperienced brat like yourself." Hidan fought back.

Itachi walked downstairs and whispered something into Valentina's ear. Something that I couldn't hear, but apparently Deidara and Hidan did because they turned to look at Itachi confused and Valentina seemed more scared than ever.

"Boo whoo-oo-oo-oo!!" Hidan attempted to make ghost noises. "Be careful with Leader-Sama!!" Hidan called as Valentina got up from her chair and began walking out of the dining room.
"Be careful not to get raped by Leader!" Hidan laughed louder.

"Hidan enough! She's a little kid", Lilian snapped at him as she sat next to Itachi and began eating.

"I'm just fucking playing. Can't you all take a joke....unless," he laughed more as Kakuzu rolled his eyes and sighed in frustration.

"You're very quiet today, Tobi. Everything okay?" Lilian turned her attention to me.

"Of course Lilian-chan!" I answered cheerfully, but my attention was on Valentina who was about to walk up the stairs and then abruptly stopped.
I couldn't divide my attention to Valentina and staying in character in front of the other members. Something made Valentina stop in her tracks, and I wanted to know what that was.

"Oh please call me Lily," Lilian replied. She placed her hand on my shoulder causing me to look at her. Big mistake. Divided attention.

When I turned back to Valentina, I watched as she spinned in an unnatural way facing the door.

Her eyes looked back at the table full of criminals. At everyone but me. She never looked at me.

Obito could tell Valentina was terrified. Her eyes screamed for help, and I could hear the front door closed as if someone had entered.

Sasori walked inside the hideout and I could now see he was using his chakra strings to pull Valentina towards him.

"Nice to meet you. Mucho gusto," Sasori smiled softly at the confused Valentina.

Valentina returned the smile. Stood in place even after Sasori had let go of the chakra strings. She seemed hypnotized by him. Unable to look away from his eyes.

"Hey bitch! Leader-sama remember?" Hidan attempted to wake her up with his screams.

Valentina didn't even turned to look at Hidan. She seemed in a tranced as she kept eye contact with Sasori, until she finally gave him her back and walked upstairs.

I wasn't sure why I felt so angry about the situation. Sasori would be just another man Valentina would want around. Another man that caught her attention. Someone who wasn't me.
I shouldn't be mad. Prior to the night before, Valentina never particularly cared for me. I shouldn't care yet I do.
