You were currently walking around the streets of L'Manburg, humming to yourself as you looked around at the homes and watched as the people worked on construction, the warm air of summer put your mind at peace, until you were so rudely interrupted by Alex running around, and into you. "Why hello Y/N, it's a pleasure, as always" he smiles bowing to you slightly, "Hello mister Sexytary of state, how are you this fine summers day?" You ask, giving a small curtsey, "I was just headed off to talk to President Tubbo about the removal of the wall around our land, and you?" "I was just taking a stroll, enjoying the fresh air you know?" "Yes, I do indeed, but alas, I must get going, it was a pleasure talking to you" he says grabbing my hand and kissing it. In which I internally gag, "thank you" I manage to spit out, and we both head our separate ways.
Alex seemed to have fancied you, in which he had feelings you didn't return, at all, ever. Alex was just, Alex, and was way too much for you, he wasn't a bad guy, he was just... Himself.
You find yourself walking until you reach the town square, where you hear faint singing, the L'Manburg anthem, you enter and see the ghost of Wilbur Soot, or Ghostbur, as people call him, hopping from chair to chair while singing to Phil, who was currently in house arrest and watching from his balcony. There is also a blue sheep with Wilbur too, which you choose to not questions about until he brought it up.
"Hello, Wilbur!" You call out and he immediately stops singing and turns to you, "Y/N, hello! How are you!" He calls back as you approach him, the grin on his face growing bigger by the second. "I'm doing well! How about you?" You ask, reaching him. "I'm great! Even better now cause you're here!" He says, floating around you in circles, you blush a little and turn to Phil, "Hey Phil! How's house arrest? Do you need me to bring anything?" You ask, he smiles and shakes his head "no, I'm good for now, thank you though, Y/N" he gives you a smile, "though I'm wondering if you'll be able to deliver a letter to my son for me in a bit" "of course"
You were one of the people trusted with Technos location after he went into hiding before Tubbo, Ranboo, Alex and Fundy raided Phil's home unannounced and took his compass, and which you secretly helped him escape when they captured him.
"Y/N, look, look!" Wilbur grabs my hand and pulls me towards the blue sheep, "I named him 'Friend'! He's my new friend" he smiles like a child, "you wanna pet him? He's very soft" you decide why not and pat Friend's head. He was right, Friend was very soft. "See! He likes you!" Wilbur cheers hugging Friend. You laugh.
"Hey, I have something I wanted to show you" Wilbur turns to you, grabbing your hand once again, "Phil can you watch Friend?" He asks, turning to Phil, "of course son, you go have fun he smiles and gives us a wave goodbye, bringing Friend inside.
Wilbur pulls you along, far from L'Manburg and the DreamSMP, leading you up a large hill. He covers your eyes, which doesn't really work since he's transparent but the thought was appreciated. So you decided to not say anything about it and close your eyes.
"We're here!" He cheers removing his hands, you open your eyes and gasp. In front of you was a large field of flowers that looked as if it went on for miles, you took a deep breath of the large cool air as the cool breeze left goosebumps on your skin. "Wilbur! Where did you find this place?" You ask turning to him. "Friend showed me it! I come here whenever I'm... Not okay" he smiles "come on!! Lets go look at the flowers" he grabs my hand and runs down the field.
We eventually find a nice spot and he plops himself down, pulling you down on top of him. He laughs and we both start laughing. He sits up and looks at you, "all these flowers and you're still the prettiest thing here" he brushes some hair out of my face and I go red. "T-thank you, Ghostbur" you stutter, "you can call me Wilbur, I don't mind if it's you" he smile, "o-okay, thank you Wilbur" he smiles and pulls away. Grabbing some of the nearby flowers. "What are you doing?" You ask. "Just wait" he giggles and he turns away from me.
A couple minutes pass and he turns to face me, holding out a flower crown. "I made you a crown!!" He smiles. "Can I put it on you?" "Of course Wilbur!" You smile and he gently places the crown on top of your head. He backs up to take a better look and gasps. "You. Look. AMAZING!" he yells, "I do?" "Yes!! I love it" he claps his hands together. You smile, "u-um, how did you make it? I want to make you one too" you look down blushing. "Really! Of course!! I'll teach you!" He grabs another handful of flowers and begins to explain the art of flower crowns to you.
After an hour or so you have it down and finish Wilbur's crown, it's no where near as well done as the one he make you, but the effort was appreciated and he absolutely loved it. "I do like it Y/N! See? look" he pulls out an ender chest and places the flower crown inside. "There, so I never ever lose it" he looks at me and smiles. "Come here" he reaches a hand out to you and pulls you up with him. He then grabs a jukebox and places it, putting a disc inside, reaching his hand out to you. "Dance with me?" He smiles and you take his hand and he pulls you close to him. (In this universe music other then the discs exist, obviously lololololol) 'line without a hook' begins to play as Wilbur pulls you along, you weren't really a dancer so Will was pretty much taking the lead. He holds you close to his chest and he hums along to the words.
"How the fuck can you do this Wilbur?" You ask. "Do what?" "Like, touch me, your a ghost for Christ's sake" he laughs at your statement "yeah, I am, but I'm not a cool ghost sadly" he giggles"I think you're pretty cool" you mumble, "thank you Y/N" he laughs and gives you a quick kiss on the forehead as you continue to dance together.
