NARRATOR
Harry, Ron Hermione, George, Fred, and Aquila stood behind Mr. Filch as he hung a new announcement on the walls of Hogwarts. The wall was covered with birdhouse shaped frames with papers inside them announcing the new rules Umbridge has settled. Little did they know, this announcement was going to make their lives and the rest of Dumbledore's army a living hell. More students began to gather around Filch, who was on a tall latter that kept tipping, making Aquila anxious about him falling. The sound of the hammer hitting the nail echoed through the castle, making Aquila extremely annoyed. Loud noises always disturbed her. Suddenly, the hammering stopped, and Professor Filch began to hang the announcement on the wall. Gasps were heard from all around the area, making Aquila and the rest of the army, anxious about what they were going to hear. Then, Professor Filch went down the latter, now fully revealing the announcement.
Dolores Jane Umbridge has replaced Albus Dumbledore as head of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
"You've gotta be shitting me!", Aquila exclaimed. Professor Filch glared at her, and she rolled her eyes back. Aquila looked up at Fred and George, who looked at each other with disappointed faces.
During the next few days, the school had changed in horrible ways. Fred, George, and Aquila were walking around the school, and then announcements started spreading around the whole castle.
"Boys and girls are not permitted to be within eight inches of each other.", Professor Umbridge's voice projected around the whole school. Aquila furrowed her eyebrows at Fred and George, only to all of a sudden she felt someone push her aggressively to the other side of the hall.
"You heard her! Eight inches within each other you slut!", a high-pitched voice spoke. Her back hit the stone textured wall, making her backache. She looked ahead of herself and saw pug-faced Pansy Parkinson laughing at her as she ran away from Aquila. Fred and George came running towards her, kneeling in front of her to check if she was okay.
"Aquila, are you hurt?!", George asked worriedly. Aquila shook her head, meaning that she wasn't hurt. George sighed in relief and helped Aquila get up from the floor. Aquila looked up at Fred who had his jaw clenched and had angry eyes.
"That's it, we're going to make this woman's life a living hell.", Fred threatened under his breath. Aquila and George nodded at each other and continued walking together, completely ignoring the announcement. The announcements kept going on, but it went through Aquila, Fred, and George's left and right ear. They decided they weren't going to care at all about Umbridge's new rules.

The next day, the whole Dumbledore's Army sat in detention. Professor Umbridge had given them the punishment of the blood quill. Hissing and low painful whimpers could be heard inside the room. The students were sitting at individual desks, that were placed in five lines of six. Fred would look at Aquila each time she would whimper in pain and give her a reassuring look. Words carved into all of the student's hands. Aquila and Fred both knew of this punishment since they have both been through it. But that didn't take the pain any less from both of them. George, who sat in front of Fred, glared at Professor Umbridge who was sitting in the front of the classroom, on the throne Professor Dumbledore used to sit on. Fred glared at Professor Umbridge as his hand stung. Sobs could be heard inside the room, and hearing the sobs of Micheal Corner made Aquila begin to tear up. She looked at the parchment as she wrote "I must not break rules." The students looked at the parchment, and those who have never received this punishment before realized that it was not ink that spread on the page. It was their own blood.
After detention, the DA walked out of the classroom. On the way out, Aquila spotted Cho Chang. Cho had a sorry and guilty look, but Aquila wasn't having any of it. Aquila glared at her and shook her head as she walked away from her. Her hand began to sting as she began to head to the dungeons. But then she felt someone tap her shoulder. Aquila looked around and saw Fred Weasley with a small smile on his face since he too also felt the pain of the blood quill. He kept a smile on to not worry Aquila, but he also saw heard how she was hissing in pain and saw how her eyes were puffy from crying during the punishment. His face softened and he pulled her gently into a hall where they couldn't be bothered. It was dark and near the dungeons, so Aquila didn't have to be alone so long since the Slytherins were probably going to make her life impossible after they found out she was in Dumbledores Army.
"Are you okay?", Fred asked with concern on his face. He lowered his body a bit since his body towered over hers. He looked at her arm and saw that it was marked by the punishments she's had during the years. His arm was also marked since he's had detention with Umbridge for eavesdropping. Fred didn't remember her crying the first time they had done it, he only remembered her hissing. Which is why he was concerned why her eyes looked so red and puffy. Aquila nodded at him.
"Yea just stings a bit.", she spoke softly. Fred gave her a small smile and gave her a tight hug. Aquila loved his hugs since they were always so rare. His hugs were the kind that could take any sort of pain away. She could feel the hate and anger slowly leave her body, and the sting in her arm began to disappear little by little.
AQUILA
I felt warm in his arms. My cold skin turned warm as he rubbed his hand on my back, and his chin set on the top of my head. I felt a mixture of happiness and complete confusion and conflict. I'm trying to figure it all out. I have these feelings, emotions, words, and thoughts about Fred, that sometimes don't even let me sleep at night. Although I have a feeling that maybe I know what I want. I feel like I finally understand what I feel towards Fred, and it is about time I share it with him.
"Fred.", I called gently as I broke off the hug. He let go of me and began to look at me. I breathed in and exhaled to prepare myself for what I was about to say.
"I think I like you. Like I really like you. You're the first thing on my mind when I wake up, and I don't stop thinking about you. If I ever think about something else, you're always involved somehow. When I study for a test, I think about how I want you there to study with me. When I go for a walk in the field, I think about how I wish you could be holding my hand as I do. When I-"
I was interrupted when I felt a pair of two warm hands grab my cheeks and pulling me in, making me feel his soft and warm lips. My skin began to turn even warmer. I felt Fred smile into the kiss, making me let out a chuckle. He put a strand of my hair that was hanging beside my cheek and placed it behind my ear. Time stopped when his lips met mine. It all felt as if it were all slow motion. My knees went weak as he slid his hands to my back. My heart decided to skip a beat as my whole body began to tingle.
He pulled away and smiled at me brightly. He took a step closer to me and I looked down as I blushed. Fred gently took my chin and pulled my head up to look at his beautiful brown eyes.
"You give me something to believe in.", I said softly as I admired his brown eyes. "How do you do it?", I asked. Fred let out a chuckle.
"A wizard never shares his secrets, love.", He laughed as he planted a kiss on my forehead. "But I do have a question to ask you.", Fred mentioned. My palms began to get sweaty and my heart began to beat quickly.
"Will you give me the honor of being your boyfriend?", He asked with a playful grin on his face. I let out a chuckle and gave him a little peck on the lips.
"Yes."
