THIRTY-TWO- Amortentia

"Ah Aquila!", Professor Slughorn cheered as Aquila and Draco entered the potions classroom. All the Gryffindor and Slytherin students looked over at the entrance of the classroom. "And who might you be, young boy?" Professor Slughorn asked Draco who was now frowning at the fact that someone didn't know who he was. Aquila snickered, earning a light show from Malfoy. Draco walked up to Professor Slughorn and shook his hand. 

"Draco, sir," Draco said. "Draco Malfoy." 

"Oh, you're Lucius's son? You sure look like him.", Professor Slughorn said with a friendly voice. Draco nodded. "Well, why don't you two have a seat?"

Draco and Aquila sat at a table in the far back of the classroom. 

"Alright everyone, what potion is this?" Professor Slughorn asked. 

"It's Amortentia. It makes us smell the scent of what attracts us the most," Hermione mentioned. Professor Slughorn congratulated her and invited everyone to smell it. Aquila approached the potion cauldron slowly. The closer she got, the more she could smell the scent of the man in her head. Aquila's eyes widened once she fully reached the smell, making her face slowly soften. Draco approached her and put his hand on her shoulder. 

"What do you smell?" he asked. 

"Gunpowder, marshmallow fireside, and mischief.", Aquila said with a smile. Draco nodded and looked down. 

"What do you smell?", Aquila asked Draco. Draco shook his head and looked Aquila in the eye. 

"Nothing.", Draco said dryly and then walked back to his seat and his eyes met the ground once again.

"I can't believe Potter won that Felix Felicis. He must've cheated." Draco ranted as he and Aquila walked towards the Slytherin common room. Aquila rolled her eyes and mumbled the password to enter the common room. The doors opened, revealing the leather furniture and students in green robes sitting on them. Aquila and Draco walked in and met with their friend group. 

"Oh Draco, there you are!" Pansy Parkinson exclaimed as she sat up from the sofa and ran up to Draco to hug him. Draco backed away trying to avoid the affection, but it was too late as she had already embraced him. Aquila chuckled at Draco's unhappy face and sat down next to Victoria. Victoria looked at Aquila and laughed. 

As the Slytherin group of friends made conversation, they were interrupted by the sound of Professor Snape's loud heel. All the students' breath hitched as they looked behind them, now looking at the serious look on the man's face. Everyone stared blankly at him as he just looked menacingly at the students with his arms crossed. Aquila and her friends gulped. Professor Snape approached the students slowly and stopping once he reached the furniture. 

"I have been told to let all of you know that we will have visitors next week," Professor Snape announced. Whispers began to fill the room. "Silence!" he exclaimed as he stomped his foot on the ground. The room went silent once again, directing their attention back at the terrifying professor. "The visitors will be the now graduated Weasley Twins." Aquila gasped and Draco looked at her concerned. "Due to their success with their shop, Professor Dumbledore has invited them to show you their products." Professor Snape walked back towards the common room's door and looked back at the students. "That will be all. Goodbye," he said as he exited himself from the common room and back to his office. 

Aquila's heart was pounding against her chest and her leg was beginning to shake. The twins are going to come to Hogwarts, which means that she is going to have to see Fred Weasley. "Excuse me, I need to go to my dorm." Aquila stood up from the sofa and headed towards the stairs that took her to her dorm. She could hear Draco whisper yelling her name, but she needed to be alone. 

FRED

"I agreed to Dumbledores invitation," George mentioned as he walked down his and Fred's living room. The fire was warming up their home since the wind was strong. George sat in front of Fred on the red couch, now meeting Fred's angry gaze. 

"You what?" Fred stood up from the other red couch and George followed his move. "Are you mad? I cannot go to Hogwarts, especially since I haven't found out what to do with Aquila yet. I don't know what to say to her!" Fred began to pace around the living room, massaging the space between his eyebrows. 

"I had to brother. You can't just keep on avoiding Aquila forever. I was with you guys throughout her whole 5th year and our 7th year. What you both have... it's real. Fred, you can't throw that away." George said softly. Fred looked down and nodded.
