Moonlight- Fred Weasely x original character (Discontinued)

December 15th, 1995

"Phoenix!", Fred yelled running towards her in the corridors. People were giving him weird looks. "Phoenix, I have news!", yelled Fred when he arrived where Aquila was.

"Merlin Weasley, could you be any louder!?", Aquila protested making Fred self-conscious of his excitement. He sighed and said,

"Sorry, I just have news I think you'll like.", Fred explained. Aquila widened her eyes signaling for him to keep talking. He took a deep breath and started to explain the news.

"Well, since you spending Christmas alone this year... and it's not the first time, I thought that maybe you would like to spend the holidays with my family and I. I've already asked my parents and they said they were okay with it. But we won't be spending it at my house, but in Grimmauld Place", Fred was freaking out. His heart was beating fifty times faster, but he managed to keep it together. He saw the expression on her face from an annoyed one to have a genuine smile. 

"Are you kidding?", Aquila asked excited to hear that Fred had invited her to spend Christmas with his family. Fred shook his head with a bright smile on his face. Aquila rushed to Fred and engulfed him in her arms, giving him a tight hug. Fred was surprised at the sudden movement, but he eventually hugged back. When they separated from the hug, Aquila and Fred looked at each other in the eyes, with pure happiness. 

"Weasley.", Aquila called for his attention. He snapped out of his brown-eyed trance and listened to Aquila. "I think it's about time we reach the first name bases, right?", Aquila questioned nervously. Fred gave Aquila a smirk and said,

"Oh finally! I thought you were gonna call me Weasley for the rest of our lives.". Aquila laughed at Fred's commentary. "Well, I've got to go pack to leave tomorrow. See you later?", Fred asked Aquila. Aquila nodded and smiled. 

"Great. Later Aquila!", Fred said, and winked when he said her name. The brown-eyed girl felt butterflies in her stomach when hearing him say her name. She watched how Fred walked towards the Gryffindor common room, with a bright smile.

This chapter was really short, but it was just to say that Aquila will be going to spend Christmas with the Weasleys. Please vote and comment!
