To my savior,

The moment you read this letter, I'm probably out of the country already. It pains me that I have to leave without saying goodbye. But it'll break my heart more if I saw you before leaving because I could've changed my mind and not left at all.

We've been friends for a long time now. I remembered the first time we first met. I was alone in the school park and then you came pushing me off the swing. I was mad at you because you kept on teasing me. But then, I slowly realized that you're the only friend who understood me. I was a loner back in high school. I was the girl who can pass the hallways unnoticed. You were a known athlete. We were different from each other. But you never left my side. Thank you for being my friend. You are truly my savior.

You must be wondering why I am writing you this letter. I have never told you this before because I was afraid you'd avoid me. Now that I am leaving, I want to say that I've been in love with you all these years. I know that you're way out of my league. I was happy that you're my friend, even if I know that I don't stand a chance to be more than that.

I hope that you'll take good care of my sister. I couldn't say I was happy and yet, I also couldn't be mad at you. You love my sister. I already know that the moment you befriended me. But like what I've said, it's alright. My decision to leave was for the best. I was hoping I could forget you when I do that. But always know that you will always have a special place in my heart. I love my bestfriend.
