Everyone treats her different even sometimes her parents and her sister. Cloverkit also misses her brother, Frostkit, who died because of the evil she-cat Flowertail. When Cloverkit and Flutterkit become apprentices, everything chances. She finds herself working harder than ever before because of her disability and her mentor definitely makes sure of that. But when Cloverkit becomes a warrior she questions if Clan life is right for her. And when rouges threaten her Clan she has to make a choice.
