My life has been an intense journey from a little girl who was beaten down and abused into believing that she was worthless, to a woman at 43 years of age who is still desperately searching for who she truly is. I found her though. I did. And she writes like me, from inside of me. She is me. This girl that I've been in love with since time first existed, is indeed me. The way that she walks. With her hands... and how she talks? The hearts that she's captured, the souls that she has inspired. I'm now trying to be her. I've never felt that I was good enough to actually be myself!!! I always knew how pure and clear and free I was inside. But people told me otherwise, in a very cruel way. No one ever spared my feelings or thought to speak to me with kindness or love. My parents were very serious and strict people. They believed that there was only 1 way to act and inside I knew that I did NOT fit in the parameters of the behavior expected of me. And every single time I made my Step Daddy sigh or frown it felt like I knife in my heart. I was a let down. Always too loud. Always moving too much. Always too fat and always too ugly. Always too much. Unless I sat quietly. But I've always been a firecracker and all of that containment really made me want to blow off! All of what was inside of me, swirling and dividing in me. Burying the side of me that I loved the most! I was a bastard and a blasphemy. Harsh words for a girl of 3. They said them when they baptized me.
The Stars Choose Our Lovers by cjacks1124

I was 5 years old when I met Mia. I knew I loved her from the day I met her. We did everything together, and we were inseparable. People judged us. All eyes were on us because she is black and I am white. We didn't mind because we were each other's light during the darkness of their stares. I never understood why it is so easy for people to hate, as opposed to love. Kindness is contagious, and we all should pass it along. I fell in love with Mia. Her flaws were perfect in my eyes, and I knew she would always be my Mia. I love her just as much as the bees love honey. I love her so much to the point her love is the only unconditional love I ever knew. Sad, but dreadfully true, when I look in Mia's eyes, I wonder, does she feel the same way about me. Am I her light? Does she accept my flaws, and are they perfect in her eyes? Am I the sun to her desert? Am I her rainbow after a rainy day? I hope she loves me just as much as I love her. My biggest concern is-after all the years we've been best friends, will our parents accept us? I'm scared. I'm afraid that if I tell Mia how I feel, I will lose everything we have built. I keep asking myself, should I express my feelings, or should I keep them to myself? I deserve to be loved, right? I will never know unless I take a chance. Will I have the courage, or will I let my true love slip away? I've always believed that the stars choose our lovers. I wonder did the stars choose Mia for me?

After meeting tall, sexy, and mysterious Marcello Pietro, Brimmy finds herself having to make a life-changing decision and putting herself in a dangerous position she'd never imagined to be in. °•°●°•°●°•°●°•° "I love you." He says with no hesitation. It takes a moment for my hazy mind to catch up. I'm still in a daze, mesmerized by his perfections, and the deep dimple set in his cheek. I blink, "What?" "Don't make me say it again." He says, sounding frustrated, but I catch the hint of embarassment in his voice as he runs his hand through his hair and takes a step back. I grab a hold of the neckline to his shirt and yank him back within close proximity of me. "What if I want you to say it again?" I ask, studying his eyes. "Isn't it enough that I said it once?" He scowls, trying to pull back, but I restrain him from doing so. "Nope. Just say it one more time and I'll be satisfied." I state bravely, feeling a boost of confidence I didn't have earlier. He glances down, then looks back up into my eyes, allowing me to spot the vulnerability and uncertainty he feels. "I love you." He says, putting more strength in his voice than he looks to have. I grin, pulling him in for a kiss, but right before I do, I say the one phrase that will seal my fate, "I love you too, big, bad mafia boss." ••••• The story may be rough but the comment section makes up for it. ••••• Word count: 51,173 ••••• Written and published 2018-2019

Fated Series. Book #2 "Be possessive of me, own me, keep me, because if you do then nothing and no one else can." - Maddox. My name is Maddox Vallero, and I'm dead. Well, that's not quite true. I'm alive in the breathing, walking, talking sense-but that's about where it ends. The ghosts in my head remind me daily that I'm just a shell. Physically present, mentally shattered. For years, I've let time slip past, ticking away like I'm still trapped in that coffin, six feet under, slowly losing pieces of myself. I gave up long before I even opened my eyes this morning. So when you see me smiling, promising you the world, it's all a lie. And you'll believe it, because I'm that good. Lying, cheating, tricking-it's my game. I'm a master at making you trust in the illusion, even as I turn around and steal everything back. But somewhere along the line, I tricked myself. Now, I don't know where my lies end and the truth begins. My sanity's as fragile as the mask I wear. Then she walked in. The executive assistant I was forced to hire-a woman who sees straight through me. I lie, and she calls me on it. I grin, and she tells me to drop the act. She's the one person who refuses to fall for my games, who somehow slips past every defense I've ever built. And with her, I'm starting to see the shadows I live among. Sounds simple? It's not. Life has its own twisted sense of humor, and fate is a cunning fox that delights in making things messy. I want her, but I've got attachment issues that could bury us both. She wants me, but her commitment issues make her run every time. And together, we're tangled in pasts that haunt us, presents that hurt, and futures that we're terrified to face. This is the story of what happens when two broken people collide, each one daring the other to start taking risks.

Change to disclaimer: I censored their name because they were getting death threats. THIS BOOK IS COMPLETE In my younger years, I accepted toxic manipulation and emotional abuse as normal and a sign of love. I've dealt with lying and manipulation all my life but never classified it as wrong since it all came from someone I loved: my father. I never fought back because I was raised to put trust in him because we were kin. A decade later, I come across Wattpad with a warm and loving community, and through mutual friends meet THEM. We then start dating on and off and then finally break up. Before we do break-up, they made me vow to never tell anyone what I had gone through and discovered about them. I said yes without hesitation because I was still madly in love with them and stupidly loyal; but as two years pass I realize I promised to not tell anyone about their true self so they could continue to do what they did to me and to silence me because they knew I still had feelings for them and was formidably loyal. I became damage control so they could continuously drag in new weak-minded people like me and make them go through the same pain and groom them to shower them with attention every second of the day and when they didn't; they made them feel as if they were wrong. They made their lovers feel like they were the bad guy and insignificant at the same time. In Present day, this still haunts me to the point I only get a few hours of sleep. My ex isn't here now and I feel I must share not only as a way to warn readers of people like them and how his definition of love is actually far from the truth, but as way of closure for myself.

Warning: Mature audiences only. "I love you," he whispered seductively in my ears sending chills throughout my entire body. I was more than in love with this man. He had my mind going wild with just a single touch of his soft hands against my skin. "I want you," he says as he gently pulls me into his arms and kisses my lips passionately. Making my body want more of the sensational feeling his affection created in my body. I was most definitely sprung and I honestly didn't want this amazing feeling he gave me to ever end. He was phenomenal, and he had all of the attributes I looked for in a man. He was fine as hell, romantic, consistent, loyal, funny, active, and had money. "How can a man be so perfect?" I thought in my head as I looked lustfully into his dark brown eyes. "Or maybe he isn't as perfect as I think?" I questioned myself being opened to the possibility that I was slightly blinded by his perfections. "Or what if he's playing me and he's not who I think he is at all?" I thought jokingly, quickly eliminating that possibility. ****************** Who is this wondrous man? is he as great as he seems? Or are the possibilities endless? Follow Nevaeh Nicole Johnson on her search for happiness. Maybe she's already found it? But you'll have to find out.
