SERENA LAID HER HEAD AGAINST THE GREEN GRASS, AS SHE LOOKED UP AT THE BLUE SKIES. It was very rare for Hogwarts to have good weather, so Serena took this time to just look at the skies. She loved the blue skies, they were her favorite sight. Her favorite color was plain blue, she didn't really know why. She just liked the color. Maybe it was because she mother's favorite color, or perhaps it was because her room back home is blue. It just reminded her of a innocence, and fun and her childhood. So every time the sky was clear, she made it her priority to go to the outskirts of Hogwarts, and lay there, in peace, in the calming silence with her only endless thoughts.

Just as Serena was about to take out her notebook to draw, until she heard a childish like shout from behind her. She instantly knew who it was -- James Potter and his friends. Serena rolled her eyes and sighed hoping they won't see her. Just as she thought the coast was clear, she turned around, and there he was. Messy hair and glasses in all, smiling down at the girl. They hadn't talked since they got paired in Muggle Studies earlier today. She hoped she would get a few sketches in before she'd have to talk to James.

"Thought you'd be here, Fraser," James grinned as he seated himself next to Serena. Serena slowly scooted away from James, hoping he won't catch her in the act.

"Yeah, hmm . . . so when you would you like to study?" Serena questioned, moving a piece of her hair that blown on her face. James looked at the quizzically, like she'd just said the most dumb thing ever. Serena gritted her teeth in annoyance, glancing at the notebook seated next to her, and sighed.

"Study? I thought we were --"

"Yes, James. To study, it's bloody project, what else are we going to do? Perhaps have a tea party, right?" Serena stated, as she breathed out a quick 'godric,' before grabbing the collar of her shirt, fixing it. James stood up, and exhaled a breath.

"Has anyone ever told you, you're very hot when you're angry - it's so steamy," James winked down at the girl, earning a scoff from Serena. That's idiotic - but yes, she's heard that many times before. Many, many, many times

"Wow so original, Potter," Serena said nonchalantly, sighing as she tried her best not to make eye-contact with the boy.

James smirked down the girl. "Okay, library at a half past six?" Serena nodded at the boy, hoping he'd leave. "I'll be going, see you at six thirty,"

Serena mumbled an goodbye, finally opening her sketchbook to draw.

Serena sighed, as she looked at the necklace she ruined. She put her hands on her face, letting out a groan. She slammed the book she was reading for directions, and huffed, while she folded her arms. One of Serena's hobbies was making jewelry for herself and people she loved. It was her way of saying, 'hey, I love and appreciate you.' She was never the affectionate type, mostly because she didn't know how to express her love for someone - so she showed it in the only way she knew, gifting

When she was younger, her dad would write her poems, and gift them. He also baked her cookies, but she's not sure if she ever has heard him say an 'I love you,' since her mom left. She knew he did care for her but her dad was never the lovey-dovey type, either. When Dumbledore realized how much she liked making stuff, he lent her an old room to do her crafts. It was a favor for the smart girl.

It was a very small, barely-lit room but Serena made it look beautiful with plants and paintings of fields on the walls, with a small window in front of the crafting table and a record player with stacks of papers next to it in a corner. It was messy for sure, but it was a cute type of messy. Another thing about this place is that it is her sacred place. No one except Lily and Marlene have been in this room. This room was her safe place, someplace only she has.
