LILY AND MARLENE LEFT THE COMMON ROOM IN A HURRY, LILY TRYING TO SOBER UP THE BLONDE. They stepped into the bathroom, as a sigh escaped Lily's mouth. Marlene rolled her eyes, as she looked into the mirror. The bathroom was a little cold, and dark. The only thing illuminating the bathroom was Lily's wand. Lily put down her wand on the sink so she could look at Marlene clearly. They stood there, looking into each other eyes. For a moment, they were at peace.

"Why did you do that?" Marlene said groggily, obviously tired. Lily shrugged and looked at the mirror, fixing her red, now messy hair.

"I just didn't want you to regret doing something with Felix . . . and ruining it," Lily stated, looking down at her hands. Marlene looked at redhead, a Lily shivered. She was very cold. Lily was always freezing, even in the summer. In Scotland, during November, it's freezing -- it makes it worse for the redhead. Marlene was naturally warm, so she brought up her hand to her's. Lily looked up, and smiled.

"Thanks, Lils,"

"Can I ask you something, and you have to be honest?" Lily quipped, as Marlene took a breathe. She knew what she was going to ask, and she was prepared her to tell the truth. "Why were you mad?"

"I don't know, I think half of me was jealous,"

"Of me? Or . . . Tom?" Lily whispered, looking into Marlene's blue orbs. She wanted to know the real truth, the whole.

"Tom," she whispered back, half of her regretting speaking. Lily was confused, but it made sense. Lily brought up her hands to cup Marlene's cheeks, a smile on her face. She lightly pressed her soft lips on her's.

As Serena walked into the dining hall for breakfast, everyone seemed either completely hung-over or confused on why everyone seemed tired. Last night's events confused everyone. Remus was confused on why Sirius didn't just admit on fancying him, Peter was confused where his brown socks went, Marlene and Lily had feelings for each other and they didn't know what to do, and Serena was confused on James' stupid outburst. Why was he jealous? Did he fancy her, or was she just . . . a whore in James' eyes.

Half of Serena was mad on actually caring about James and his stupid comment. She knew she wasn't a whore, so why was she questioning if she was? And why was he suddenly all over her mind. Serena looked through the crowds of students in the dining hall looking for Lily and Marlene, but there was no sign of them. Maybe they just slept in?

Whilst looking threw the crowds, she found herself looking at James. He caught her staring, a sorry expression played on his face. She scowled, giving him an angry look as she sat with some of her Ravenclaw friends.

Sirius yawned, looking at James. Peter slept in, and Remus was probably studying. Key word: probably. In all honesty, they both had no clue where the others were. "So, why the sour expression, Prongs?"

James looked at Sirius, a frown on his lips. "I'm pretty sure I called Serena a whore last night--"

"Wait, hold on," Sirus paused in disbelief, as he put down the apple he was eating. "A whore? And you're not even sure?! Did I teach you nothing these last few years!"

"No," James mumbled, earning a scoff from his raven friend.

"So, you like her, and you called her a whore! Great way of getting her attention, Jamesie," Sirus teased. "Okay, all you need to do is turn in the project, and give her, perhaps a flower?"

James face turned white. The project. "Oh shit! I forgot!" Sirius rolled his eyes in disbelief.

"About the goddamn project?! Probably someone took it, you bloody git!" Sirus shouted, causing some of the Gryffindors to look their way. "There's no fixing that, my boy,"
