"I forgive you" Dream responded to Sapnap. Despite as much planning you could do, sometimes the simplest of words were the best choice.
The tension held awkwardly in the air, not quite going away and just stifling him. It was probably because in reality, neither Dream nor Sapnap actually forgave each other.
Dream waited for Sapnap's response.
"Well, uh- that's great then. That's great" Sapnap responded, his head tilted slightly.
Dream stood at a stand still, not quite knowing what to do next.
"Sooo, I best be on my way to do the jobs I've been assigned, I'll see you two at the end of labor or during the canteen" Dream finally found a way to escape the conversation.
He gave an awkward goodbye wave before breaking away with Badboyhalo and Skeppy in tow.
"Where ya going?" Badboyhalo asked as they walked.
"Didn't you see the paper? I'll be going to check the pipes first" Dream responded.
"I guess, though you could've gone to jobs in any order so yes I did see the paper" Badboyhalo bit back.
Dream didn't respond, deciding to put the conversion away for later. Or never. Never would be good too.
As he walked through the hallways, he halted in front of electrical, walking in to the pipes.
Unlike last time, their seemed to be some sort of frost covering them. Dream also noticed in the area's with no ice was wet.
Perhaps the rain from last night had froze over, it had been awfully cold.
Dream could hear a small clack from nearby, the sound of someone brushing against a wire.
He turned around, spotting a out of place wire.
Walking towards it, Dream pushed the wire back into place, hunched over to reach it.
"Boo!" Skeppy yelled from behind him.
Instantly Dream jumped back, falling over in surprise.
"Skeppy!!!" Dream shakily stood up, very annoyed.
Skeppy just shrugged and snickered.
Badboyhalo faded into view next to Skeppy.
Dream scowled and exited the room.
"You okay?" Badboyhalo asked, for just a second it sounded like he was concerned.
"What is it to you?" Dream snapped back, not really in the mood.
"Nevermind. I don't care anyway" Badboyhalo eyes darted away while their gaze became hostile.
Dream noticed that as usual, Badboyhalo and Skeppy trailed behind him.
He walked to admin, every step becoming increasingly tiring.
Dream stepped into admin, the cold air of the room chilling him.
Placed on top of a table was a stack of papers, along with a cabinet next the table.
He scanned through the papers, flipping each paper rather quickly.
Dream started sorting each paper by the room they were dedicated to, pausing when he saw one labeled 'generator room'. Not only that but it was also labled 'Office' rather than 'Admin'.
He took a second to shift the paper away from the pile.
Dream snuck a glance at the door, no one was watching.
