Dream slowly blinked, groggily waking up. A part of him didn't want to get up yet. Why can't I just sleep? Dream thought to himself but stood up anyway.

He made his way to the bathroom, swiftly grabbing his tooth brush and tooth paste. Dream brushed his teeth slowly. Soon he was finished and he went to his computer to go start his day.

Dream scrolled through YouTube, checking his notifications. He mindlessly checked his emails.

Beeeeeep

He fell out of his chair, startled by the sudden noise. Dream hesitantly got up. What was that? He proceeded to check every room in his house, but the noise didn't come up again. Maybe I'm just going crazy. Dream thought to himself, letting out a soft chuckle. Why was he getting so worked up over nothing?

Dream sat back in his chair, letting out a sigh of relief. He finished what he had been doing and went over to his fridge.

Dream swung open the door, he didn't have much food in it. Perhaps it'd be a good idea to get some food from the grocery store.

He stepped towards his front door, grabbing his car keys and hopping into his car. Dream started the ignition and drove off. He was almost at the grocery store when he heard a familiar sound.

Beep.. beep....

Dream stiffened in surprise. He didn't know why he was so jumpy today. Dream also didn't know why he kept on hearing that beeping noise, maybe he needed to get his hearing checked. Either way though, it freaked him out. The beep always sounded like it was very close by, yet nothing in his proximity could've made the noise. Dream brushed it off, he needed to buy some groceries.

He parked at the store. Opening and closing his car door as he got out. Dream locked his car before walking into the store. He started to make a notes on what he needed. Dream put milk, eggs, waffles, and some frozen meals.

He walked towards the checkout area, his eyes focused on the concrete floor. Suddenly his vision flickered and he immediately stopped in his tracks. Dream looked around, he could see normally now. But just the thought that the vision flickering could be recurring freaked him out. What if that had happened when I was driving? He'd definitely need to get this checked out soon.

Dream tried to push those thoughts to the back to his head as he approached an open cash register. The store was very empty, so there was no line. He placed his items onto the conveyor belt, and the casher scanned them.

"You total is $̶͍̲̣̼̆͆͠7̸̩̔̋̇͊̽͐͠1̴̨̨̬̘̳̪̣̏̉̐̐͝.̴̦͇̌́͋6̵̯̫͎͐́̓̏̚5̵̼͍͉̆͗̈́̽͠" The cashier spoke, busily fiddling with something below the counter.

"Pardon?" Dream asked, he couldn't understand the last word she said, it had sounded glitched and messed up.

"Huh?" The cashier responded, looking up.

"Could you repeat what my total is?" Dream hesitantly asked.

"Your total is $71.65" The cashier went back to fiddling with whatever was under the counter, they seemed slightly annoyed.

Dream proceeded to pay for the groceries and gathered the items into the cart. He left the store, very weirded out. Just another reason to get my hearing checked. He thought to himself as he loaded his groceries into his car.

The drive home was uneventful to his relief. He parked on his driveway and carried his groceries inside. Dream felt a bit lonely in his empty house. It was a terrifying vibe he was getting. Dream put away his groceries and made himself toasted waffles. He plated the waffles and brought them to his computer desk.

Dream sat at his computer, he decided that it would be a good idea to stream today, just to have some normal interaction with people.

He booted up his stream, being greeted by the usual excited fans in the chat.

"Hey guys! We're going be as usual playing Minecraft today, but this time I'm gonna be speed running!" Dream spoke to the viewers.

Dream click at Minecraft's application, and it started to load up. He sat impatiently at the computer.

Beep beep beep

Dream looked around, nothing seemed abnormal. He looked back at the his computer and suddenly little spots of blackness appeared and disappeared in his vision, as if the world was glitching.

Beep beep beeeeep

"I have to go for a second due to technical difficulties, I'll be back online in a few minutes" Dream promised as he ended the stream. Growing more and anxious as the beeping grew louder and louder.

Beep beep beep

The sound seemed to grow frantic, speeding up. Dream watched as everything around him glitched, darkness flickering throughout his vision.

Beep BEEP

His vision went completely back, and for a second he went unconscious.

BEEEEEP
