Panic

Dream was shocked to put it lightly.

"Missing?? Are you sure?" Dream asked George, had he heard him right?

"Badboyhalo was with me last night but when I woke up he was gone! I don't know where he could've went!" George spoke in a really fast panicked state.

Sapnap didn't say anything but he looked at the two in disbelief.

Dream looked back at the crowd of people leaving them going to roll call. Soon it was just Dream, Sapnap, and George in the hallway.

Dream quickly grabbed George's wrist and dragged him along towards roll call. Sapnap picked up his pace and followed.

He wasn't paying attention most of roll call. Dream went over all of the possible scenarios over his head. How could Badboyhalo just disappeared over night? George's cell door was apparently closed during the night since he never heard it clack open.

Dream noticed that they didn't bother to call Badboyhalo's name during roll call, this sent tiny chills down his spine and made him squirm in his seat.

Very soon the roll call was finished and before he knew it the speakers rang out to call them for canteen. It was bit of a blur, as all Dream could think about was Badboyhalo's disappearance

Dream rushed into the canteen, quickly sitting next to now only George and Sapnap. He didn't even bother to grab food.

"They didn't even call his name during roll-call" Dream remarked, starting the conversation getting to the main point.

"I know! I'm just so worried. People have disappeared before, overnight typically, and they don't usually come back. But the very very few ones that do, they don't come back the same" George sounded very stressed.

"Elaborate?" Dream asked.

"I only know of one person that came back, a guy named Wilbur. When they mysteriously appeared again one day, they were different in some ways that I just can't explain. After that a few days later they disappeared again one night and never came back" George quickly explained, very rapidly.

"Let's not get too stressed over something we can't do anything about. I get it, it's really terrible and worrisome that Badboyhalo is missing, however if you think rationally, all we can really do is hope for the best and sit tight" Sapnap tried to calm George down.

"We can't just accept that! Badboyhalo would want us to do something. There has to be something we can do about it!" George argued.

"I told you, the 'something' that we can do is only not drawing too much attention to ourselves right now and wait to see if anything else happens" Sapnap reasoned.

George sighed, clearly unsatisfied with Sapnap's answer. The two glanced at Dream who had been awfully silent. Dream really didn't know what to say, Sapnap is right to a degree, they can't do much about it at all, but does that mean they shouldn't try?

"Its time for a hour of lockdown, please return to your cells or you will be forcefully escorted" The speakers rang out inconveniently.

"We'll discuss this more at the gymnasium" Dream spoke before standing up and rushing to his cell. He slid around the hallway corner and entered his room, the door clacking shut behind him.

He still had a lot on his mind that he wanted to talk about. Maybe I could talk to Skeppy? It seemed like a good enough idea despite the rather sour note the two left off on last night.

"Skeppy?" Dream hesitantly called.

Nobody appeared, leaving Dream to sit idly and wait. Dream looked at the necklace he was wearing. That dumb book had caused so many problems already.
