Dream walked along the halls, falling a bit behind CaptainPuffy and Karl.
The three quickly made their way to the library.
Each swift step took him to the front of the library, which looked just as grand as it had last time.
Dream looked up, gazing at a plant that he started to seep through the walls, covering some of it in vines. He was reminded of when he placed the plant there only a day ago.
It didn't look out of place, seeming like natural flora.
Only natural to an extent though, as there wasn't any other plants around.
Dream placed his palm against the wall, feeling the small cracks in it that threatened to burst.
He could've sworn that when he first visited the library the walls had been completely smooth. Nonetheless he entered it with Karl and CaptainPuffy.
Dream stood now in the library, reaching his hand down quickly to grasp the book that essentially acted as keychain attached to his necklace. It wasn't giving off any aura's, just dead silent.
I guess I shouldn't excepted much of a reaction. Dream had been curious to see what the book would do now that it was back in the library. And to his disappointment, it did absolutely nothing.
Dream ran to join Karl and CaptainPuffy leaned over at one of the book shelves near the front of the library.
"What are you looking for?" Dream inquired to no one in particular.
"Books" Karl turned around to respond.
"Well duh, I meant like what kind of books are you looking for" Dream restated.
"Oh. I'm currently searching for anything interesting" Karl snapped around, plucking more books off the shelf one by one and flipping through them.
"And books that are interesting to you are?" Dream continued asking.
"Short novels are pretty cool" Karl responded.
Dream whisked away, feeling unsure of what to do next.
As he walked through the library, he admired the smooth wooden walls and the red carpeted flooring.
Dream reached the end of the room, deciding to look through the books in the back.
He scanned each book, picking out one from the shelf.
Dream opened it, finding out that it was just about types of storms. Unsatisfied, he placed it back.
He plucked another, this one didn't have a cover. Dream pried the book open, finding out that this one had nothing on the pages. Completely blank.
Reminded of the book he had snatched from the library a few days earlier, he grasped his necklace.
He looked away, turning back around to see that the book attached to his necklace was now a normal size. And there wasn't a string attached it anymore.
Dream compared the two eerily similar books. Both had what seemed the same amount of pages and both were blank.
He placed the books down on the floor, grabbing more from the shelf and flipping through them.
Dream managed to find another similar book with no cover, he looked down at the other two.
He opened it, immediately seeing the usual blank pages. Dream flipped through it, stopping in his tracks as soon as he saw words.
Dream slowly read the words to himself.
'Bound with sorrow it weeps,
kept inside a vessel from which it seeps.
Angry spirits arise,
covered in pity and lies.
