Dream and his group made their way to the office to be assigned jobs.
Dream watched George with Badboyhalo while Sapnap cut a few spaces ahead of them to chat with someone.
"Who's that?" Dream asked pointing to the person he saw Sapnap talking to.
"That's Illumina, Sapnap bunkmate. Do you share your room with anyone yet?" George idly asked as they moved up the line slowly.
"I don't share it with anyone yet" Dream responded. Does a ghost really count?
"That's cool, Badboyhalo is my bunkmate" George said gesturing to Badboyhalo next to him, they seemed lost in thought.
Dream, Badboyhalo, and George reached the end of the line.
There was two small metal boxes on a table in front of the office. He watched people walk up to the left box and press one of the buttons, it spit out a piece of paper with some words on it.
Dream strut up to it, jabbing the small button on the left box.
Ching!
The box revealed a small paper. On the paper was a list of jobs. Organize files in admin, sweep canteen, water plants in gym. Dream read the contents of the paper to himself before walking a bit from the office. He noticed that the office door itself had a sign that read 'do not enter'. It was also locked.
I'll go to admin first. Dream decided. Wait where is admin? Maybe there's a map someone around here. Dream looked back on the office. coincidentally there was a pile of maps on a table outside too. Dream had just been too lost in thought to notice.
Dream backtracked, grabbing a map before studying it for a bit. To reach admin he'd have to go left and then make two rights.
He did exactly that, making his way to admin and surprisingly Dream didn't get lost.
Dream entered admin. The room was one of a typical office, which raised the question of why they'd have two offices when it would be more convenient to have one. Maybe they just had a lot of papers. But there wasn't even a lot of papers on the table in there.
He looked over the papers on the desk, one of the stacks had a label that read 'sort'. How do I even organize these? Dream flipped through the papers, looking for similarities between some. It was mostly filled with status updates on supplies they'd need for each room. Nothing too important.
Dream decided to sort them based on what room each paper was dedicated to. Unfortunately for him, multiple papers were addressed to rooms.
Soon he had a few neat stacks of papers. Dream put each stack in a separate office cabinet. Dream took out the his job note again. Next he'd sweep the canteen.
This time Dream practiced speed walking to where the canteen was, being more confident in his navigational skills thanks to the map.
He strut through the canteen door. It was very empty. Dream picked up a broom and dust pan that was laid against the one of the canteen walls. It felt odd that all of this stuff was easily accessible without any need to show why you needed it. Maybe everyone behaves very well? Dream actually had yet to see anyone get in trouble.
Dream was lost in thought as he swept the floors. Sweeping was a task that no one really put much thought into when they were doing it.
"You seem bored" A voice beside Dream spoke.
Dream was jolted back into reality but he calmed down when he realized it was just Skeppy.
"Did you really have to scare me like that?" Dream complained as he continued to sweep.
