Beeeeeep
Dream opened his eyes, a part of him didn't want to get up, he'd much rather sleep. But that annoying ring was motivation enough to slip out of bed.
He blinked his eyes groggily, letting out a small yawn.
Dream looked over to see Skeppy appear, looking wide awake.
"See ya later, be careful what you say around George and Sapnap, okay?" Skeppy reminded him.
"Alright" Dream responded.
"Everyone is due at roll-call, not showing up will result in punishment" The speaker blared.
Dream really wished he could break that stupid speaker. The cell door clacked open, struggling more than usual since it was coated with rust. He made his way to roll-call.
It was quicker than usual as if there was a little less names to call. Roll-call still took too long though. Eventually his name was called and he responded, it was quite a mind numbing process.
"It's time for everyone to go to the canteen" Rang out another speaker.
Dream felt relieved as he was finally done with roll-call. The only problem was how worried he was about having to talk to Sapnap and George, specifically Sapnap. It was like Sapnap twisted every word he said, seemingly believing that Dream was somehow the cause of Badboyhalo's disappearance. He didn't like the idea of Sapnap eventually feeling he had enough evidence to accuse him fully.
It all was too worrisome, He just wished there was some way to convince Sapnap otherwise, as Dream never would want to get rid of Badboyhalo.
Dream walked into the canteen, too caught up in his troubles to realize he was already there.
He glanced around, spotting George and Sapnap sitting at the same table as usual. George waved at him, inviting him over.
Dream quickly grabbed a food tray and rushed over.
"Hi Dream!" George greeted.
"Hello" Dream sat down, already exhausted even though the day just began.
"Did you sleep well? You sound tired" George asked.
"I didn't sleep very well, I guess it's just hard to get good sleep here" Dream responded while eating some food.
"It makes sense that a murderer wouldn't get good sleep, probably haunted by their actions" Sapnap interjected.
"What?" Dream sat up and looked at Sapnap, it was undeniable that Sapnap was staring at him with pure hatred.
"Huh?" George said, also glancing at Sapnap.
Sapnap didn't say anything else, opting to just stare in silence. And honestly that was the most unsettling thing ever.
Sapnap having managed to kill the mood in one sentence, caused the three to stay silent.
The only noise coming from the three was George awkwardly mushing his food.
"I thought the food was better than usual today" George attempted to start another conversation.
"Yeah.." Dream simply replied.
Ding!
"Its time for a hour of lockdown, please return to your cells or you will be forcefully escorted" A speaker echoed throughout the canteen.
Dream immediately stood up and booked it, glad to escape the awkward conversation. It isn't going to get any better. I wish it stayed like it was when I first appeared in the facility, before Badboyhalo disappeared and before Sapnap grew suspicious of me.
