The Denouement

...and in every tragedy, we start with being jolly
As I descend into madness, they call me 'happy'
Thank you for clicking that tiny play button
for I will tell you my story's inevitable resolution.

Let's start by saying that in every road traveled, less traveled by or not, we start walking
Walking and walking... going into outlandish places as if looking for something
Going to places where most people would go
Astounded by the awing things you won't imagine that are faux
Seeing beguiling aesthetics full of vivid colors and accents
Every stop I leave creates a sillage: such fascinating scents

The the dead of the night starts to conquer
Loneliness is certain to be its partner
In a particular time you'd soon realize
That you're never alone because your shadow is always by your side.

But humans have a stubborn nature
We just wouldn't stop by just one adventure
We still found ourselves magnetized by the search
The search for light that urged for the lurch

And when we thought we finally found it
We just pour our earthly will to keep chasing it.
Walking and walking but it still seems distant
So the next option is running as if the excruciating pain isn't existent

Eventually, we find ourselves in exhaustion
Throwing everything heavy our shoulders had to carry on
But this pain we feel is now unbearable
So we sit in a flit almost abysmal

Seeing the skies above turning into dark oblivion
We're still in search, don't forget, for the light we mentioned
We found light above but still could't choose
Between the superficial that's more radiant than the moon would diffuse

We found ourselves more confused by the decision we had to make
We remove our mask so we can breathe and our caps so we can be seen
This unbearable pain that we're talking about
is making us do nothing but silently shout.

But ask yourselves this: "Did you make a significant change?"
"Did your rebellious act stop  your mind to derange?"
Let's take a look at the light above, "Do you really have to choose
Between the superficial that's more radiant than the moon would diffuse?"

Stop asking and get up. Take a look of what's in front of you
Maybe you're being too selfish thinking what the world would offer you
Think of the million lights you have seen so far
Think of the people you loved even from afar

Looking at the worst year, we thought we're doomed to oblivion
Hyperbolic or not, it may bring total annihilation
Don't worry, I say, it's just an examination
Where the only solution to survive is total abnegation.
