Footsteps in the snow
Make me feel more alone,
The ice in the sky
Muffles my sighs.
The trees of pine
And my heart pines
The cold weather
Oh, wither do I tether?
The dandelions fall
Like snowflakes having a ball,
Gleefully dancing in the charm
Holidays are here, with warmth.
The festivities and the roast
And mistletoe at the door,
There’s a sparkle in the air
Like unicorns riding the sleigh.
Darkness is redefined
In the starry night,
The withered hearts rejoice
Everything’s going to be fine.
Slashing the demons inside
With the sword of Sunshine,
Removing the purge of greed
With tons of positivity.
Appreciation is what we know
As we take on the year as never before,
Cherishing all we have
Entering the new year with a flair.
Nothing is lost, you see
As long as we have our integrity,
Courage and love combine
Make a potent bond sublime,
Reach out with kindness and warmth
This is who we are.
