There is honour in silence
People tend to change when violent
A lot of problems we face
Happen when sadness isn't on the surface
When words are understood on the scales of mistrust
That's when emotions really erupt.
Silence carries a lot of weight
Comes with an onslaught of embrace
Into the feels it depends
When expressions refuse to transcend
The boundaries of cognizance.
Scolding through anger, silence speaks
In the stealth glances, it seeks
It toils towards the highway
Of harmony and self-belief.
