I've a debt to pay
And don't want anyone to have a say
Had taken a loan of happiness and kindness
And lots of sunshine, smiles and memories.

Paying the debt has freed my soul
From the constraints of agony
And opened the doors
Of laughter and love and lots more.

I've promises to keep
The integrity of my words
Refuses to let me sleep
I'm sunk deep.

I've stayed with my silence too long
Watched it from the shadows afar
Seen it verbalize the glint in my eyes
And the blush speaks more anyways
My silence portrays more than I say.
