I understand time is trying
In ways impossible to manifest
But it's teaching you to defy it
By learning from the circumstances.
I understand life is complicated
With people being convoluted
But it's showing you to simplify
By being with people who deserve you in their lives.
I understand life is mocking
In ways that are shocking
But it's making you persevere
By standing up to your fear.
I understand life is bold
In ways untold
But it's opening you avenues
By trudging through the issues.
