Don't search for my character in the worldly straits, my friend
Loyalty is always found alone, distanced from the mess,
Where lies and betrayals reign unsurpressed.
Don't search for my weaknesses in the mazes of the world, my friend
You are one of them, don't forget.
Don't search for my pain in the markets of success, my friend
One glance into my eyes is enough to comprehend.
Don't search for my scars in the bylanes of memories, my friend
Sometimes they are best left untend.
Don't search for my mistakes in the myriad nooks of my personality, my friend
They made me what I'm today--portent.
