Let me abide in the shadows for a bit longer
Amidst the chaos to ponder
I see the real faces in the sunshine
Burn away what's mesmerizes
The traces of guile unmask the true countenance
I allow myself emotions of uncertainty
Confusion, helplessness and integrity.
Own what is within
Staring at the darkness unblink
Trusting the journey therein
Amidst the grumbles, stumbles and winning.
Fathom the unfathomable aura
As it bestows me with surrender plethora
Guiding through the rough terrain
All arrogance is in vain
Calm in the face of nothing
Kind with everything.
