Sacrifices are overwhelming under the circumstances
Keeping a smile takes so much pretense
Tests shatter our heart and demolish the soul
Standing strong takes so much more.
Surrender to the world and just flow
When there's nothing left to "let go"
Yielding or bowing down isn't just surrender
Some bonds/relations are valued over others.
Interacting when there's nothing left inside
Forcing a laugh with so much to hide
Silence runs through miles and miles
Coldness conceals the tears in the eyes.
Sorryies are always not sincere
Acceptance at times incites fear
Liking has no logical thinking
Expressing love isn't everything
Being there through thick and thin
Is the beginning of eternal loving.
