Airi walked into a small office, dressed up in an appropriate business attire. The receptionist asked her a few questions and she said she was here to see Satsuki. The receptionist signs her in and asks her to wait.
Airi was nervous, she didn't think she was going to be offered this kind of position. If things went well, she could become a kpop star. It wasn't on her career list, but she'd take it.
After a couple minutes, a tall woman comes through the doors. She was wearing more casual business attire and behind her, was a woman in a suit, most likely her secretary.
"Ah, Airi Otogi. Glad to finally meet you. I'm Choi Satsuki, CEO."
Airi shakes her hand and Satsuki smiles at her.
"Follow me, we have things to discuss."
Airi follows her into an office and sits down on a chair. Satsuki sits at her desk and pulls out some papers.
"Sorry about this space. I just rented this for whenever I come to Japan."
"No, it's all good. It looks nice."
"So, my team has showed me video of you around the internet. I must say, you have a beautiful voice, you definitely have the potential to become a big star."
"Thank you so much, I appreciate it, really."
"Before we get into more important things, how are you feeling about all this?"
"I guess a little overwhelmed. I'm just an ordinary girl living in an ordinary city. I didn't expect for this to blow up so much."
"I see. We would love to welcome you into our agency. You have that potential after all." She hands her the contract and Airi readers it over.
"Your choice. You can choose to do whatever you want and we won't judge."
Should I do this? This would be a big step in my life. If I were to move, I won't see my friends or brother, is this gonna be worth it?
After thinking things through, Airi signs the papers.
"Great to have you on board. You're going to have a great time. First things first, you're definitely going to have to move to Korea. You can chose to either live in the trainee dorms or have an apartment there."
"Alright, when do I have to move?"
"The process will probably take two to three weeks, so you'll have plenty of time to pack up and say goodbye to friends and family."
"Alright, thank you. I'm excited to start this new career and hope to gain fans and new friends along the way."
"Great, here's my business card! Call me whenever you're ready to head out, we will definitely fly you to Korea. I sadly, have to leave tonight. I'll be looking forward to seeing you in Korea."
**************
Airi lay in Alister's bed that day, contemplating. She had a lot on her mind and a lot of prepare for. She broke out of her thoughts when two large hands wrapped around her body.
"What're you so lost in thought for?"
"Hmm, you can never believe what happened."
"What?"
"So you know how I became an internet sensation? Well a huge Korean entertainment company wants to scout me. I just had a meeting this morning."
