Chapter 18

Three years. That's how long it's been since I've become an idol. I didn't even realize how fast time has gone. I was so busy promoting music with my group, going on variety shows, interviews, doing commercials and dramas, and even being a YouTuber.

I talked to my friends and my brother from time to time. They understood how busy I was and my agency didn't restrict us from talking to them or having our phones. I didn't talk to Seto Kaiba much as the others. I'm pretty sure he was busy running his company. I did miss him from time to time.

I never got the chance the date anyone. Although I've had a few flings here and there, it was never anything serious. I felt unsatisfactory sleeping with other guys, but I had needs to take care of. I become close friends with a few NBT members, especially Johnny.

We got to hang out a lot and got to know each and he was only two years older than me. We hung out with Mark as well from time to time. There was a time a article leaked about us dating, but we denied and claimed we were just friends and that's what it always is going to be.

Johnny told me he had a girlfriend. I met her and she was nice. We all ended up becoming best friends. We would often go on secret coffee dates and have dinners at secluded restaurants.

When it came to my members, we were very close. Since I was the oldest, they respected me like a sister. We would go shopping together and have lunches and dinner together all the time.

Our practices went great and sure at times we would argue and not get along at times, but we got through this and become close friends. After three whole years, I was going back to Japan.

"Girls, I have good news!" The manager walks in with a smile on his face.

The girls were practicing their dance moves. They came to a halt as the manager walked closer to them.

"You ladies get to have a vacation!" At the sound of his words, the girls start jumping up and down with excitement.

They haven't seen their families in so long. After they were done with practice, Airi began to pack. Everyone was leaving that morning so after they were done packing, they were going to get dinner.

Airi called up her brother right away. She wanted to share the good news.

"Airi? How you been? It's been a few weeks, I missed you." Her brother fake cried and she laughed.

"I've been good, you look slim. Have you been eating properly?"

"Yeah I'm good, just had a little stomach bug that's all."

"I have some good news. I'm coming home tomorrow."

"Really? After so long?"

"Yeah our manager told us we needed a vacation and so I started packing right away."

"When's the flight?"

"Tomorrow morning, you better come pick me up!"

"Of course! I'll be there early and I'll also let the others know."

After a few minutes of talking, Airi hung up so she can go have dinner with the rest of her band members.

When Airi landed in Japan, there was the usual paparazzi and the fans who were trying to get her attention. Although she came for vacation, she had a few ads, commercials, photo shoots, and solo performances to do. She waved at her fans and the cameras as well.
