dayoung squinted her eyes at sunhee, not believing the words that fell out of her lips. "you're lying," she nervously chuckled out in denial.

slightly smirking, sunhee shrugged her shoulders. "is it that hard to believe that i'm donghyuck's sister, twin sister at that."

adverting her gaze elsewhere, dayoung gulped. "i just don't see how you guys are twins, you don't even look like him."

"really now," sunhee monotonously commented. "i get the opposite, everyone says we have the same features."

dayoung glanced at sunhee, staring much longer as she pondered. opening her mouth to say something, she hesitated once she saw sunhee's features highlighted under the encasement of the beaming lights that hung under them. she pursed her lips before flickering her gaze to the stage. "now that i look at it, you and haechan do look similar," she admitted.

sunhee cracked a grin, feeling pride flood into her. "now that's why i don't get how you didn't figure out."

"i thought you and haechan were a past fling..." dayoung quietly muttered.

"what?" sunhee replied, not hearing her quiet voice.

"i said i thought you guys used to date," dayoung rushed out, her cheeks once again flaring with embarrassment.

sunhee snorted, a laugh bubbling through her throat at the ridiculous comment dayoung stated.

meanwhile, embarrassment seeped and coursed through dayoung veins, filling up her whole body and stung her with unbelievable amount of humiliation.

she clenched her jaw in place as she internally cringed at her actions.

she was acting like a possessive girlfriend, and dayoung hated that.

"well, that was unexpected," sunhee let out once she simmered down her laughing. "that... that was weird," she shivered in thought.

mockingly laughing, dayoung nodded her head. "yeah, i know. it was dumb and everything, can we move along?"

"no," sunhee bluntly let out with a chuckle. "i'm going to remember it all of my life all the way to my death and my-."

"since when did you get so talkative," dayoung gritted out with a smile as she clasped her hand onto sunhee's mouth.

sunhee pursed her lips in return. "i guess i don't hate you as much anymore," she mumbled behind dayoung's hand.

narrowing her eyes, dayoung dropped her grasp and gave a perplexed look to sunhee before bursting into laughter. "yeah, great acting. never in my life would i have thought you would stop hating me ever since i stepped foot in that dance room."

a smile began to tug on sunhee's lips, remembering the first time her and dayoung met.

"hurry up! you're going to be late to your auditions!" hyeri shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
