"you left us in the dust so we can rot and decay!" hyeri shouted furiously. "you're no better than mom," she spat out.
hangyeol amusingly raised his brows up. "you're right, i'm no better than her because she left her children and dwell on her love life like a teenage girl and didn't tend to her daughters when they needed them."
"she did a better job than you though because where were you when i cried for you to come back?" hyeri retorted.
"okay, silence. let mister hangyeol testify and then it'll be your turn miss hyeri," the judge shouted, gaining everyone's attention.
"like i was saying," hangyeol bit out. "ahnjong hasn't been taking care of my daughters. going back to her moping around like a teenage girl, it has caused her some great damage. i mean who wouldn't be after i left," he cockily said.
"this is not the time mister hangyeol," the judge warned.
"right, right. anyways, she seems to be having a mental illness that is not treated. it's dangerous for my girls to be living with her, that's why i want full custody of them," he finally finished off.
dayoung scoffed at his statement. "wow, way to diagnose her when you're not a doctor," she said loudly.
"but you can clearly tell she's not mentally stable," hangyeol challenged.
"and you can clearly tell you're not mentally stable along with your new wife of yours," dayoung replied with the same energy.
hangyeol sighed as he rubbed his forehead. "your mom told you bad things about me didn't she? that's why you don't like me."
"no she didn't because i clearly saw what kind of person you were under your facade. a fake father who left his children for money and a girl," dayoung disgustingly said.
"okay stop! this is the last warning, do not interrupt anymore," the judge warned.
"miss ahnjong please come up to the podium to testify against this claim."
nervously, the said women stepped onto the podium as she bit her lips. she sat on the seat, feeling burden just sitting there with all of the eyes including those who are strangers.
she sighed, not knowing what else to say but to agree with hangyeol because she wasn't mentally stable. she still was and is affected by everything and she wasn't there for her daughters like she was suppose to be.
and those are only some of the reasons why she shook her head. "i don't have anything else to say because he is right," she whispered.
