it was nearly night time, and everyone in the practice room were exhausted, especially those who barely got rest.

haesoo had left hours ago, leaving dayoung swirling with anger and in a daze.

it was a tiring and long day for both her and the dreamies and they couldn't wait to jump in bed when the time came to be.

everyone was gathering their things, all of them ready to leave and head to the dorms and to finally end their day.

dayoung stood next to minjoon, observing the boys who were too tired to even stand up. a frown was visible on her face as she felt pity growing in the pits of her stomach.

"do they normally work this hard?" she nudged her friend beside her.

sadly, minjoon nodded her head. "this isn't even that much, it would've been more hectic if they had actual schedules."

with a sigh, dayoung drooped her head down. "that really is a lot..." she trailed off.

"yeah, but it is what it is."

"okay boys, are you guys ready?" minjoon clapped her hands.

and the boys frantically nodded the heads, the excitement of sleeping overpowering them.

"okay then let's go, wait in the car for me."

with that, all 6 of them were out of the door and started walking to their team van.

slowly, minjoon brought her head near dayoung's and quietly whispered out, "there's a practice room next door open for you if you want to practice for your upcoming competition."

a small smile started creeping up on dayoung's face, excitement already visibly played through her body. "thanks, bestie," she said, putting her thumbs up in the air.

"yeah, no worries. i don't want you to, you know, with your last couple of competitions..." minjoon trailed off.

"mhmm, yeah i know what you're talking about," dayoung sadly said, her mood shifting almost immediately thinking about it.

"cheer up dayoung, you're an amazing dancer so you'll do well."

"noted. thanks a lot minjoon, you're really the best," dayoung hugged her. "now go and drop the boys off, they probably are exhausted and waiting to go to bed," she slightly laughed as she pushed her friend out.

"okay, fine. just make sure you lock the door when you're done and go to the back door, don't want to go to jail this early," minjoon jokingly said.

"don't worry, i already have my mugshots prepared if that happens," dayoung cheekily smiled out.

shaking her head as a bigger smile bloomed on her face, minjoon uttered out, "goodnight dayoung."

"goodnight minjoon."
