breathlessly, haechan ran towards the door, haesoo's pleads and shouts zoning out of his ears.
he pushed open the door, the cold, winter breeze immediately meeting him as the beautiful sunset that littered the sky beamed onto him.
he worryingly looked from side to side, his mind set on the girl whom he had grown fond of.
he sighed a breath of relief, spotting the dainty figure of dayoung that was on the right of him. her body in a squatting position with her head on her lap and her back against the white building.
heavy breathing could be heard from the girl with her body shaking from the bundles of nerves that were still apparent.
he saw her body going up and down rapidly, a sign of her still struggling to control her breathing.
she lightly clenched her hands as more and more torturous memories emerged into her brain.
and seeing haesoo only triggered more traumatic memories dayoung tried so hard to bury within her.
haechan slowly squatted next to her, worry swirling in him. he hesitantly, but surely, brought his hand up and started to pat her back in attempts to comfort her.
dayoung jumped up slightly but soon relaxed, recognizing haechan's signature scent he carried.
her fists were balled up, her hands turning into a immense pale color and a red hue littering in her palms from the blooding rushing in it.
she was scared.
whenever she went on stage, all she heard were the same voices in her head that continue to haunt her instead of the music.
you're so useless.
look at her dance, it looks ugly.
that's probably why her dad left.
her mom basically left her too, that's how pathetic she is.everything was about her dad, and she was sick and tired of it.
she just wanted to be free from all of the torture she went through.
but ever since, she was never the same dayoung she was when she was little.
she was hurt, and didn't trust no more because of how stupid she felt about herself and how humiliating it was that people saw her crumble apart.
yet they did nothing about it.
maybe what haesoo said was right, she was too innocent that it seemed ridiculous to dayoung.
and since, she vowed to stay to herself and vowed to never trust anyone.
however, she just had the urge to breakdown and tell her problems to the boy that she only knew for a small amount of time.
because strong people disintegrate too.
dayoung slowly lifted up her head, looking at the horizon and the sunset that was set in front of her as she huffed out a breath of air, trying to regain her breathing.
